Hi ladies! I wanted to get us started this week. Does everyone have Father's Day plan? DH tried to get our eldest up for a fishing adventure,...but being a typical 15 year old,...he's still sleeping. No worries, DH found a fishing-buddy.

I'll be back later for personals,....wanted to get us started. :D

Hi ladies!

Last night we hosted a party at our house for my nephew's baptism that didn't end till 11pm. Today was church at 8 then we went to my parents house to watch the local Father's day parade so Brooke will be on a sugar high for a day or so now. Now we're home just lounging around.

Hi!
Hope veryone has had a good day. We have kept ourselves busy around the house. I made dh's requested dinner...fried pork chops, cabbage, mashed potatoes, fried squash. I detest frying anything and he doesnt get it often..but he's worth it! He enjoyed it.

Wendy-hi..what a nice day you had!
Melanie-aww newborns..just love em!

Good morning everyone! Hope you had a good weekend! I've been in a funk the last two days and I can't shake it. I'm almost 99% sure it hormones because I cried twice yesterday for no reason. Like an all out sobbing fest. Now I just feel edgy. I haven't felt this way this whole pregnancy so now I am wondering is the second half of this pregnancy going to find me cranky??? (20 weeks today) Just wanted to share....thanks for listening!

Melanie- Newborns are so sweet! My co worker should be coming by again with her newborn hopefully because she has some clothes for me. I am excited about the clothes but I want to hold her little one again. :)

Susan- DH's dinner sounds good....I don't eat much fried stuff but still sounds good.

Hi Wendy! Glad to hear everything is going well with you!

I'll check back later...maybe I can shake this funk.

morning!
Anyone else's shoulders ache from sleeping on sides? I wake up all night having to turn over and just aching..grrrrr.

Jen-hang in there. I have days where I am just relaxed and feeling great, then day's like Saturday where I could of bitten someones head off. I thought I would jump out of my skin I was so crabby. I think its the combo of hormones, losing sleep etc. The funk will subside, promise!

I am about to attempt Low Max. I am super tired, but hoping it will give me some energy. If I could only sleep flat on my back and not pee every 2 hours!!!

Melanie-btw thanks for starting the threads..I totally forget every Sunday! have a great day!

Hi to everyone!! bbl

I made it through Low Max....I did all but the last blast..I was spent. I do feel better though. Gonna be 97 today so our plan is to just try and stay cool!!!!!

Susan- Yes my shoulders hurt and I am constantly flipping from side to side. DH thinks that I am not sleeping but I feel like I am. Way to go on getting thru the workout!

Whew, I'm exhausted. I stayed up late last night, chatting with an old friend, hopefully I'll get some good sleep in tonight (feels like I say that alot).

Took the kids to the park today with a bunch of other moms. It was alot of fun. Justin found a turtle,...and ran around the park for 2 hours straight. That boy is so energetic!

Back to work tomorrow,.... enjoyed my last two days off.

I think I may be starting to feel the babies move a little bit. It feels more like a tightness than a bubble though? You would think I'd be able to decipher these things by now. lol

Hope everyone enjoyed there day! Waves to all!!!

Melanie- won't be long and you'll be holding one in each arm!! It's so different holding a baby when you're pregnant. It's just such a miracle.

Susan - I'm glad you had a nice dinner.

Jen - I know what you mean about getting emotional. I was cleaning a patients teeth the other day and the song "It won't be like this for long" by Darius Rucker came on and I started to cry. I blame it on the hormones.

Have a great night ladies!

Wendy,...I love it,....a baby in each arm. :D I can't wait to sniff them. One minute it seems real, the next minute it's so surreal. I am so grateful & lucky that God has intrusted me with these wonderful bundles!

I had an AWESOME night of sleep. The best one in a long while. I hope the restfulness lasts most of the day. :)

I'm off to work! Have a great day ladies!!!

Morning!
Melanie-so glad you slept well. It sure does make for a better day!!!!
I took a tylenol before bed so I didn't hurt. I did get up at 12 and 3 to pee and stayed awake at 3 til nearly 4. Got up at 530. Don't know why Im having trouble going back to sleep inthe middle of the night lately. Oh well, I'll survive.
Today will be weights. Im thinking Power Hour. Haley and I must get out in the heat and run errands today. I will check back in a bit after my workout.
HI to all the wonderful preggos!!

Good morning everyone! Well, I felt better yesterday and today. My crankiness is gone...thank goodness! I missed this calm, peaceful feeling I have had this whole pregnancy.

Melanie- Glad you got some good sleep.

Susan- I wake up in the middle of the night but only cause little James is kicking me and I usually fall back asleep.

Wendy- Aww..did the patient notice?

Hi to all the preggos out there!

Hi everyone,

I have definitely had those bad days, too, when I'm restless and ready to rip someone's head off (sometimes it's partly due to lack of sleep; I sure miss sleeping on my belly). Then there are good days like on this weekend, when I completed Basic Step and Pure Strength both upper body DVDs (minus the abs), plus went on a few dog walks. I forgot who suggested PS on this forum, but thank you. They were just the right length and easily modified. I did use the incline step for chest work and some tricep work. It's OK to lie on your back with an incline, right?

At 26 weeks tomorrow, I'm feeling the baby all the time now. :) I'm still struggling with my weight though (I admit it's my obsession, sorry), but I'm packing high-protein food for work (hard-boiled eggs seem to work best for me) because I'm finding low-blood sugar hitting me a lot these days.

Anyway, glad to hear everyone had a good weekend. It was our first anniversary so we went to a nice dinner on Saturday. The only problem is I hate the photos we took! (Sorry, there's that weight obsession again). My mom gave me some pregnant scrapbook stickers so I could document my pregnancy, but is it wrong that I don't want to see myself looking this way?

Oh well, I'm starting to get really excited for the baby. I start prenatal classes soon, have a hospital tour scheduled, and two baby showers to look forward to.

have a great day everyone!
Dawn

Dawn- I have ONE photo of my last pregnancy. I am the same way. It is okay... :)
Sorry to everyone that I am out of touch. We listed the house and I am about to cry all day. All I do is clean and chase aroudn my poor kid. We cannot leave for runnign in teh morning with a dish in the sink, the house always needs to be in showing shape. I have been really bad with workouts. I see my OB this week. I wanted to talk to him about how upset I am lately. Is it the hormones that are turning me into the grouchiest person or the house thing? Anyhow, the past three days I have really ripped some heads off. I feel bad about how grumpy I am... I am off to try to exercise, I hope it makes me feel better. I think I will try Low Impact Circuit, it is one of my favorites.

I"m beat! I cannot believe how incredibly tired I get with this pregnancy. Just five more months!!!

I also don't really get excited over my growing belly & added weight gain. It makes me nervous. But we are all educated, physically fit women,....we WILL lose this weight PLUS have extra addition's in our lives. Perfect!

I will join ya'll on the crabby wagon though. OMG!!! I'd be embarrassed to share with you my evil thoughts & words. It's amazing,...but it's so out of character for me. I"m just not myself. Period. My libido has started to wane a bit,....so that should help.

I have tomorrow off! I'm off to put the kiddos to bed, so I can go to bed too!

Waves to all you beautifully rounded belly women!!!

Hi, all!

Christine, moving itself is a major life event. Pregnancy is another. Combine the two -- with a toddler in the house -- and you've got plenty of reason to be feeling like you do. I hope your house sells quickly, so you can reduce your stress. (((hugs)))

Susan -- Low Max?! Dang, girl -- work it!

My mom surprised me with a trip to Babies R Us today. She splurged on a new rocker/glider for the baby's room and bought new bedding for the little guy too. I didn't do a "set" last time, so this was so easy! Here's the link; it looks nicer in person LOL

Allison, that's beautiful! What a generous gift!!!

Christine, I"m sorry you're going through this. :( It IS stressful,....just one of those things would be stressful but you've got yourself a combination. 2 years ago we put our house on the market, and moved 6 hours away with three kids (2 in diapers) whilst I worked full-time AND we had ZERO help from friends/family. I could not believe how hard it was. *sigh* I'm praying for serenity for you, girl!

I slept pretty good except for the last 1-2 hours,...I had this mosquito that was determined to devour me. It kept landing on my face, and hands, and making that high pitched noise. Finally I had enough, and just got up. :( The bugs are awful this year!

Well, I better pay my bills,....I've been procrastinating again. It takes so darn long to do them nowadays. But kiddos are sleeping, so perfect time.

Morning!
I slept ok...been worse been better so Im good! Today will be cardio of some sort. Probably a walk. My elliptical gets here tomorrow!!

Dawn- Its hard not to feel like that when we really have little control over our bodies right now. We've just got to do the best we can now while enjoying it...then get our rears in gear after the baby! Take a few pics..you'll regret it if you don't. Haley LOVES looking at pics of me pregnant with her etc. Im sure you are beautiful! Oh, Happy belated Anniversary!

Christine-I feel for ya girl! I can only imagine the stress you are under. Hang in there and TRY not to stress over the stuff you cannot control. (that is coming from me and over the top fretter!...but it sounds good, right) You have it double..hormones and stress!! (((hugs)))

Allison-I love the bedding...very cute!!!! BTW I used NO risers in low max!

Melanie-I hate mosquitos with a passion!!!!! Glad you got a little sleep though. Have you been cleared to workout at all?

Morning Jen and all to follow. BB after my workout, whatever that may be!

Dawn- I agree with Melanie. I think we all are struggling with gaining weight whether its too much or only a little but we will ALL work hard to take it off. But I agree with Susan too that you'll want a few pictures to show the little one! I haven't taken any except the belly pics and it is strictly belly, that's it. The last pic I saw of myself pregnant I didn't like. But I do want to take some soon so I can show baby James. It's ok, you are always allowed to obsess with us!

Christine- I think the combo of hormones and stress is probably driving you batty! I wish I could come help you move/pack/show the house to take some stress off of you. Feel free to vent with us, that is what we are here for. You are a strong capable woman and you WILL get through it. :)

Allison- How wonderful that your mom surprised you! The bedding is adorable! I will have to post a link of the one I have registered for!

Susan- Oohh! I can't wait to see a pic of the elliptical. You will post one right?? ;)

I've been feeling a little back to normal mood-wise. Except the fact that DH has torn apart our bedroom and the house is a disaster again! He is tearing up the tile and taking the popcorn off the ceiling and it is so dusty. Our bedroom furniture is in our office and there really is no point in tidying up except vacuuming and keeping my kitchen clean. We are sleeping on the box spring and mattress in baby's room for now which is strange but since I am technically still in MY bed, then I am sleeping pretty well. Anyhoo, it will all be worth it in the end.

Oh and here's a link to the bedding that I have registered for:
