Rotations......

....lately I've been bored with doing "rotations". I usually will vary my cardio and do a 4-8 week rotation using a particular strength series. I was wondering if the educated crowd could give me some feedback on doing "random" strength series tapes, ie. on a weekly basis. I'm just not sure if this would allow enough muscle confusion. Also, I dont have quite as much time to workout anymore, 60 minutes max. I want to get in more cardio but find that alternating strength with cardio gets me only 3 cardio days a week (I also take at least one rest day), and doing strength on the same day as cardio just doesnt seem like a long enough cardio session. (Of the CTX cardio tapes I dont like the cardio portions of Step&Intervals or All Step...too dancey for me). I have all of Cathe's tapes, the Powerstrike tapes, a recumbent bike, a few Kathy Smith, Karen Voight, and Charlene Prickett cardio tapes. I also have CIA's Power Bar Training. Anyone have any new rotation suggestions??? My goal is like everyone else's more definition and a 5-10 lb weight loss. I keep a food journal and my diet is fairly clean. Thanks!

I know what you mean - if you have 60 min. to workout but you want to do cardio and strength the same days, then your cardio has to be shorter. I run into the same problem. Here are some suggestions for you though:
Sat. CTX Kickbox and CTX Back and Biceps and Power Circuit's Abs = 67 min.
Sun. MIC Step and CTX Chest and Shoulders = 64 min.
Mon. Leaner Legs (leg work and abs) and CTX Triceps = 62 min.
Tue. Power Max (or any 60 min. cardio tape) + Abs from CTX
Wed. CTX 10-10-10 and Body Max Upper Body = 61 min. (w/o abs)
Thu. Body Max Step and Power Circuits or Body Max Step and MIS Lower body + any abs = 59 min.
Fri. REST
Some of these are a bit longer than an hour, but not much. Have fun!
