Rotation with Elevated Bonus Workouts

Greetings

Still waiting for your response!

However, since I like the downloaded 4 bonus workouts, eager to make use of them, I’m going to start with the following rotation adding workouts from the Low Impact Series, until either receive a better one from you or receive the whole LMR2E series package:

Mon: Upper Body Strength Chest Triceps Shoulders

Tue: Lower Body Strength

Wed: Upper Body Strength Back Biceps Shoulders

Thu: Alternate between LIS Cardio Supersets, Turbobarre and Afterburn

Fri: Total Body Metabolic Strength

Sat: Alternate between the two LIS Low-Impact-Yogarelax

Thanks for those really effective workouts

All the best!

I'd be surprised if she included the bonus heavy weight workouts in what will the the LMRE User's Guide, given that there may be people who purchase the series after its release and therefore won't have access to the pre-order bonuses.

It would be nice if she posted a version using those in the Rotations forum, though.

I think your rotation looks like a good start. If you have the XTrain User's Guide, you could follow the cadence of one of the rotations in there, replacing the two UB workouts with the LMRE bonus heavy UB workouts, one of the Legs workouts with the LMRE bonus heavy LB workout, and then perhaps replace Super Cuts with LMRE bonus TB Metabolic.

Then for the cardio days, fit in whatever cardio you want, or replace one with a mobility/active recovery day or extra rest day.

Those are just my thoughts.

I got curious so I threw this together as a sample. I tried to stick exclusively with XTrain, LMR, and the LMRE Bonus heavy weight workouts. But I also threw in some other series/titles for a bit more variation, so you'll see a couple different kickboxing workouts, and a couple workouts from STS 2. All of which could be replaced as you see fit with other workouts of preference or that you have on hand.

I did fit in some extra mobility days, too. I feel those are particularly important if you're going extra heavy with your weight training.

I'd also tag on some extra core bonuses where you feel you have the time.

Greetings Kellyro77 and thanks for your suggestions!

I actually have both Xtrain series and Low Impact series, which I got as a birthday present from my SwedAmerican daughter visiting her in LA 2018. Have done the Xtrain + Low impact series rotation several times bringing me to a very good shape and fitness level for my age! She informed me about the LMR2E series, which I pre-ordered, for downloading, believing that it is the best series for aging fit!

What I like about the four bonus workouts, although they are not far from workouts in the Xtrain series, that they don´t ask me to lift to failure. Now I have the experience to know how much I can maximally lift for each exercise, which in most cases match the weights used by Cathe in the workouts.

Thanks again and all the best.
