Rotation useful to increase running speed/endurance

Hi fellow Cathletes!
I was wondering if there was a rotation, among the old ones, that could increase running speed and endurance. I resumed running on last Sunday, after 3 years, and did 5K in 33 mins. Yesterday evening went down to 31. I was so thrilled with the results (I stopped running when got pregnant and after my son's birth went back in shape using Cathe's dvds religiuosly for 2 years) that I was thinking if there was a rotation that you used and helped you in improving your results.
I know there is July 2010 rotation which focuses on cardio endurance, but I don't know how to modify it in order to include also running 2-3x week.

I tend to only follow the strength training portions of a rotation and do 3 or 4 days of running each week. Sometimes I will take the type of cardio and mirror my run to it. For example, if the rotation calls for Imax, I do an interval run. Hope this helps!
