Rotation Suggestions?

Cathlete
Hi! I'm hoping you guys can help me out by letting me know what you guys do. I have been following basically the same form for my rotations for the past couple of months. I have about 40 -50 workouts (I'm afraid to count them up !!) including mostly Cathe and the Firm with a few Gin Millers thrown in.
Basically I've been doing this:
Monday - Cardio
Tuesday - Cardio and Weight
Wednesday- Strength
Thursday - Cardio
Friday - Cardio and weights or Strength
Saturday - Cardio

So I always have three cardios and three Cardio-weights or Strength each week. I have just been rotating all the tapes I have in this pattern. Would it be better to pick just a few tapes and do the same rotation each week for a month? I was thinking maybe I should work on getting better at - for example - Boot Camp and IMax 2 and put them in each week? What do you think? How do you guys usually do it?

Thanks for your thoughts!

Jane,

I usually have a different focus every month or so. If Cathe posts a rotation to my liking I will do it and I may make a few cardio modifications because I do not do a LOT of step. December I will be focusing on burning fat and I am trying to take off a few pounds so I will be alternating cardio with circuits. But to answer your question I usually take a lifting style like the Pyramids and build around that and I will do the following:
M - Imax2 (Interval Cardio)
T - PUB
W - KPC (Kickbox Cardio)
T - PLB
F - Ride my bike, jog, rebounder (steady state cardio)
S - SJP
S - Yoga, stretch or core workout(low intensity)

Basically, each week I try to do for cardio: one interval, one steady state and one kickbox. For weights I do an Upper Body, a Lower Body and a Total body workout once a week (usually a circuit).

When I get new workouts I like to do them until I know them really well but sometimes I get bored and make some changes - I think what you are doing looks great!
