Rotation Suggestion for Hawaii Wedding Trip

Stacy

Cathlete
I'm going to Hawaii in 6 months, I"m about 15 lbs "over fat" and have slacked in my weight training so feel even more soft than just from body fat alone. I work long hours and know I will not be able to stick to an all RWH rotation or hour long STS workouts. My goal is to build back arm tone/shape and to slim down my thighs. I'm very short with short limbs and really heavy weight makes me look very stocky, like a midget Hulk. I'm feeling uninspired as far as a rotation goes. I'd love some suggestions, not necessarily all Cathe. I'm open to other instructors. I also have a treadmill. My goals admittedly right now are pretty much all aesthetic. Working on strength and flexibility will come later after my trip.

Thanks for any ideas!

Hi Stacy. Congrats on the wedding how exciting! Personally I think diet is key to slimming down so decrease sugar and processed food with focus on clean eating with plenty of lean protein healthy fats and complex carbs. Many of cathe's dvds have timesaving premixes. If you prefer low weight high reps jari love has quite a few dvds that fit the bill. Circuits that incorporate weights and cardio provide more bang for your buck. I really enjoy cathe's new bootcamp in the strong and sweaty series. Adding some interval work on your treadmill twice a week can help slim your legs as well as I found out when I joined orangetheory last year. Good luck with the workouts and Hawaiian wedding!

Thanks for the suggestions! And, I'm actually going there for someone else's wedding, but I want to look good in pics too! ;)
