Rotation questions

Cathlete
Hi, I'm new here and have a few questions maybe someone can help me with.

How do you do a PS rotation?
Do you do each video once a week or twice for the best results? How do you fit cardio in if you do them twice?
How Should I rotate my videos for best results?
Also, is it a must to have S&H series? i have preordered all the new DVD's
I am wanting more muscle definition and don't need to lose weight, but could lose alittle fat layer.(maybe diet will do this)
I would call myself a high intermediate exerciser.
Here are the videos I have so far. I also have the 3 FitPrimes, Gin Millers Extreme Moves, and christi's Hi/lo Heaven, I would like to mix in. I have lots of Firms but don't want to do those right now.

PS series
MIS
Body Max
Power Hour
Power Max
Cardio Kicks
Rythmic Step
MIC (waiting for this one)

Thanks, Dallys

My PS rotation is my favorite rotation of all. It lasts 8 weeks, yet doesn't get tiring. Here is what I do:
Sat. Cardio (usually Step Jam, MIC if I have lots of energy)
Sun. PS CST and BBA
Mon. Cardio (Cardio Kicks)
Tue. PS SL&A
Wed. Cardio (Rhythmic Step)
Thu. MIS
Fri. Rest

With MIS later in the week, I hit each muscle group twice. I once did a rotation where I did each PS 2x's a week, but I was too tired and didn't see any strength gains. I love this rotation because the 1st week, I use a 35# barbell for the SL&A but by the 8th week, I use 45#. I also do the same cardio videos every week. This works best for me. Then I have goals to set week by week and I get used to the routines so I don't have to concentrate on the choreography and give them my all. Hoep this helps! Have fun!

P.S. I finish this rotation by doing 3 weeks of S&H, which I do like, but I do not think it is necessary. If PS is like a beautiful table with dishes, linens, and silverware, then S&H is the centerpiece, napkin rings, and candlesticks. It just gives the muscles a nice finishing touch. Did that make sense?

Thanks Jillybean. I'm somewhat new to Cathe also and was wondering the same thing. I'm doing PS 2x this week and I'm exhausted already. I will try your rotation next time. Do you do S&H in a similar fashion?

I do S&H a little differently. Most weeks, this rotation works for me, some weeks I am too tired and do rotation #2.
Sat. S&H C&B and a CTX cardio, usually All Step
Sun. S&H T&B and a CTX cardio, usually Kickbox
Mon. Cardio (usually lower intensity because I am tired)
Tue. S&H L&S
Wed. Cardio (sometimes just a half hour, then abs and I'm done)
Thu. Power Hour (so that I hit each body part twice that week)
Fri. Rest
Rotation #2:
Sat. S&H L&S
Sun. Power Max
Mon. S&H C&B
Tue. Cardio Kicks
Wed. S&H T&B
Thu. Step Jam
Rotation #2 only works each muscle group once, but it keeps the energy levels high because you never do more than 60 min. of work at a time. I tend to need more cardio so if I have the time, I will follow a S&H with a CTX cardio. But only if I'm not exhausted by then. Have fun!

When I did PS, I only hit each muscle once each week. I was a bit nervous about that since I had Firms before and was used to doing a total body tape three times a week. But the folks here convinced me to try PS by itself during the week. I had great results. I lost a lot of weight and gained strength. My rotation would look like the following:
Sunday: Intense Moves
Monday: PS CST
Tuesday: Cardio (often did Cardio Kicks)
Wednesday: PS SLA
Thursday: Cardio (usually Powerstrike)
Friday: PS BBA (sometimes followed by short cardio)
Saturday: rest

Thanks for the info! I'm excited to try these rotations. I'm used to doing firms sculpt tapes 3x per week too so this is a bit of a change for me.

Thanks everyone for your ideas! This has helped alot.
One more question.
How many weeks should I do a PS rotation?
