Rotation DVD idea.

An idea I think Cathe should consider in the future........

I think it would be great to put a rotation to a DVD. A person could put it in and there would be 30 days of individual workouts to go along with the rotation they bought. Soooo, say I put it in on the first of the month for a Weight Loss Rotation and did the first workout the second day for the next workout, etc. That way there would be no switching of VHS or DVDs the whole workout for that particular day is already set in the workout DVD.

You could do ALL of your different monthly rotations on DVD so people could buy a weight loss one or muscle endurance or upper body conditioning, etc.

Does this make sense? It just seems like a good idea when people are searching for a certain rotation and then realize they don't have all the videos so they have to change things up, this way everything is included in the DVD and they can do it whenever they want.

Anyway........just a brainstorm I came up with (and somebody probably already has, who knows???)

I think that is an absolutely fantastic idea. As I am still a little new to Cathe (about 1 year into it) I certainly don't have all the DVDs that are required for the rotations. Not to mention that I have a difficult time trying to substitute, so I end up not doing the rotation at all. Thanks for suggesting this and I hope it will come to fruition :)

Marcia,

I adore this idea - but can you tell me how this would work? I assume you could only get about 2hrs of workouts onto one DVD - so how would you get a whole month of workouts onto one or two DVDs?

I know Karen Voight in her Sleek Physique DVD has programs for each day of the week. But she repeats the cardio & yoga segments over in several workouts so the DVD just re-picks the same segments.

Just curious how we could make this a reality :D

Great idea, I am so motivated by rotations and anything that makes them easier to stick with is terrific.

Hi Dawn:

Ya know, I'm not even quite sure how they'd be able to do it. I suppose you'd have to buy a set of made for rotation DVDs. Or maybe after two weeks some would repeat, etc. I figured I'd leave that part for Cathe and Chris to figure out. :)

I just thought what a great deal it would be to just put the DVD in and your workout was ready to go parts of certain workouts could be blended together, etc. But, I'm sure it's a HUGE amount of work, but ya never know......

Marcia. :)
