Hi Cathe:

Let me first say that I'm very excited to hear more about your new DVD's coming out this spring. THANK YOU in advance for the great work you do. I'm NEVER disappointed with any of your vids.

Now, on to my question - when I can't get my workout in is it best for me to just skip it altogether and move on to the next video the next day or do both workouts the next day? I don't want to overdue it, but if it's OK then I will do it because I hate to miss any of them.

Thanks, Marcia :)

Skip and move on. No need to panic and get obsessed over missed workouts. Hey, life happens, embrace it.

I keep asking this question, so I know I'm missing something, but here goes: why not just do the workout you missed the following day and move everything up one day? That way, you don't have to miss the workout OR double up. ???

HI, Marcia! I'm with Clare and Nancy. If something comes up, whether it's too busy or too sore, I do a rollover and just move everything up by one day. It ll works out very well. Since Sunday is my usual rest day, if I take a skip day during the week, I usually just end up changing my rest days and it all balances out. Some weeks, I find I need more than one rest day and I do that too! Where is it written that we have to workout within a 7 day period? No where. Flexibilty is so important. Life happens!

I'm just thinking if you don't move everything up, and you skip a workout, you could wind up, say, doing upper body twice with no lower body in a given week. Which seems silly, no? Just simple common sense I think.
