Road Trip Discussion Continued

Hey! I just read all the posts about the Road Trip and thought I'd continue it here since the other was getting so long.

For those with reservations about not measuring up to some high-schoolish standard, please don't give it another thought! I cannot stress enough how warm and kind everyone was. I was nervous too, but EVERYONE WAS SO GREAT - it was truly amazing.

As far as sign-ups go, I remember that it took at least a week for all the slots to fill up last time. That doesn't mean the same will happen this year, but it definitely did not fill up the first day in 2005.

Last time, Cathe led 3 classes on Saturday and one early on Sunday. They were a lot of fun but not as challenging as her DVD's, purposefully so I'm sure. The energy in the room and the sound of 100 pairs of feet simultaneously stomping during these workouts was incredible! I did all of the classes but did not give them my all. Muscle memory definitely took over in places!

So, if you're on the fence, challenge yourself and sign up! You will never regret it if you do and probably will if you don't. Life is just too short.:)

I printed out all the info, all set to show it to DH... then looked at the dates and realized we have to pick up DD from camp in MA that weekend. :(
 
I wish I could go! It sounds like it going to be fun! With Dh in the military, there is no way I can plan that far in advance (I'd need him to watch the kids). Oh well, I'll have to live vicariously through all of you that go! :) :)
 
I'm all ready to go too! I just hope I don't get pulled into a last minute meeting or conference call. It should be pretty safe since it's right around lunch time but you never know. :)

You know, Shelley, Cathe was fine with Rocky being there last time -- and I hate to say this -- but I'm not so sure about her and SNM's open-mindedness with regard to squirrels taking leadership roles, so I'm hesitant to ask. He SO wants to impress Fiona and is convinced leading a workout or two would be the way to go. Maybe Cathe wouldn't mind him leading a workout outside the gym in one of the trees. I'll have him e-mail her.
 
I'm sure Cathe would be fine with Rocky leading some kind of tree-based workout outside the gym. If he can find any trees. Perhaps something in the massive parking lot instead?

Definitely going. Not exactly sure how the sign in thing will work but I'll get it figured out. It seemed like such fun last time at least from posting that I can't wait. Will be fun to meet many of you there.

I would love to go. But I can't. My DH needs (for some reason or another) justification for everything we spend. In his mind, it's just not reasonable or justifiable. We are retired folks, and have to watch what we do.

But I will cheer everyone along and read everything I can about all your adventures.

Thank you so much for that post. It is just what I needed to hear. To me, this is a once in a lifetime sort of thing and I am so looking forward to meeting Cathe, crew and all of these wonderful devoted fans of hers.
