Road Trip Check-in ~ Weds, April 18th

Hi Roadtrippers! Just a quick note to checkin with my workout for last night. I did 30 minutes jog/walk intervals and 20 minutes on the spin bike. Tonight is a rest day which is a good thing. I'm going to my neighbor's wine & cheese party tonight. }(
 
Hi ladies. Been working 24/7 on our parades for this weekend (cannot WAIT till these are over!) so I've not been checking in. I have been reading as I get a moment and love it that we have new gals - Laura I agree - LOVE your story! It's going to be so much fun to meet all of you!

Today I did DM cardio/leg premix, L&G, and Fluidity. I'm also trying to take a page out of Diane's book (Diane did you get the e-mail I sent you?) and hit one UB part a day. So today it was tri's - did MM tris, BMax2 tri's, and GS tri's. I like this concept and want to give it a few weeks to see what it does. Has anyone else done it?

Hearing all of you on the nice weather front - PLEASE send some my way! My little girls on our drill squad are young and small - not a lot of body fat to keep them warm. So if we don't get some warmth for this weekend I'll have to make a decision on whether they should march/perform - I'm sure that whatever I decide there will be angry parents. Will check back as I get a moment. Thank you all for keeping me inspired! :)

Thanks, Liann. I've been going full throttle on comfort foods like pizza, peanut butter, cookies. My workout today was cleaning out all the mucky, ruined stuff in storage. Fri. I will rent a uhaul and take it to the dump;( Oh, well, like I said, it could be worse...
Tonight I will have some pasta and chocolate, and tommorrow I will resume my workouts and healthy eating:) Take care, Nancy~~~
 
Nancy - so sorry to hear about your flooding, roomie!!! I'm glad you live above ground level and didn't lose more! I know what it's been like with all this rain, I live on the farmington river and so many roads around here have been closed due to flooding. Take care of yourself and enjoy your chocolate ;-)

You are lucky you did not have more flooding where you live!!! I thought of you because I spent the last couple of nights in a hotel, and I kept thinking that the next time I'll be in in a hotel for 2 nights it will most likely be the roadtrip! I'm sure that will be so much more fun than this wonderful hotel stay:D Oh, and I will enjoy the chocolate, thanks!!!!Take care, Nancy~~~
 
Hello all!

Checking in late because I had tennis lessons tonight (got rained out last week). I did Timesaver #2 this morning.

Jennifer-I work out in the mornings around 6am and seem to do better on an empty stomach. I just drink my liquid vitamins beforehand. Hope you and your son got good news today.

Phyllis & Bekki-Great job on those pushups!!!

Robin-Hope you enjoyed your cooking class. That sounds like fun. I am with you on the cookbooks. I like the "five ingredients or less" ones.

Laura-It does get easier remembering who everyone is after a while. Don't give up:) I made a list like that when we first started, but it needs to be updated.
