RhythStep,IMAX, MIC any advice?

Hi,
First time I've ever posted here. I am an avid Cathe exerciser and trying to lose this last 10 pounds. I am thinking about buying the DVD with Rhythmic Step, Interval Max, and MIC. Does anyone have any advice on this? I've already got Power Hour, Circuit Max, Body Max, MIS, Cardio Kicks, Step Fit, and Step Works. I really need more just cardio and this new DVD looks good. :)

My advice is to buy the DVD at your earliest opportunity, and perhaps even a backup copy in case you ever lose one of them.

That is one of the top three DVD's in my arsenal that I get the most use out of. You can do each of the workouts strictly as produced, or do your own mixing and matching because it's chaptered so well. I particularly like MIC and Interval Max, and I love the Rhythmic Step warm-up (both the moves AND the music!).

I agree with A-Jock, it's an awesome DVD.

YOu get a very tough interval workout done both on and off step: a long, steady, all on the step cardio burn tape: and finally a combo tape you can split in two (one day hi-lo, one day step) or do all together on a day when you can't get enough cardio.

However, to be the devil in your ear, I would tell you that I personally get way more use out of Cathe's CTX series for both cardio burn and weight training and consider it more worth the money. Looking at your list above of what you already own, it seems you already have many long, sustained, all-cardio tapes. Maybe you would like to change tack so you suprise your body and muscles? The CTX cardios may be shorter in length but don't let that fool you, these babies are very intense because Cathe factors mini interval bursts into most of them, and on very strong days, you can put two of these cardio sections back-to-back for a major sweat session with maximum interest. They represent many cardio styles, sometimes several on each tape, the music is better I find than that used on either MIC or IMAX, so you may wish to view and listen to some of these tapes here on the site before purchasing.

A few things to think about....happy decision-making!

RE: RhythStep-IMAX-MIC vs CTX

I am all on my lonesome then,

this is the only cathe dvd that I dont like,

I have viewed it three times but I am still not inspired to do it and to be honest I never will, it just looks like pain! high impact! and more pain.

Perhaps I should never have started with Imax 2 I just cant stop doing that dvd, I only bought Rhythmic step dvd because everyone else was raving about it, that will teach me for caving in to the masses. sorry but its going to be put on the exchange for swopping.
