Reviews Needed: Tracey Staehle Sculpt & Cardio Sweatfest

I have Tracey's Step Sweatfest and HISM (which I love) and I am considering Tracy's Sculpt Sweatfest and Cardio Sweatfest. I like Cathe's Gym Styles, Muscle Max and Muscle Endurance workouts. For Cardio workouts, I generally don't like Hi/Lo with very complex cardio, but I want a workout that will keep my heartrate up.

I've only done Tracey's Cardio Sweatfest kickbox portion. This is a good workout if you don't have a lot of space as you spend most (if not all) standing in one spot doing various drills. I stayed in my target HR zone for almost the whole workout. Lots of kicking. I think there are 7 combos, the last one being a bit confusing but doable after a few tries. Burned 402 calories. Some of it is a bit repetitious so it got a little boring for me but it was still a good solid workout. Though I have to admit I like Cathe's KPC and Kick Max much better. No high impact stuff here just good solid punching and kicking drills. From what I saw in the clips, the hi/lo is this workout looked like dancy with latin moves. The kickbox is a little over an hour and the hi/lo about 30 minutes.

A good hi/lo workout is Amy Bento's Hi/Lo Xtreme. This one also kept my heartrate up for almost the entire workout. Amy has a lot of energy and the music was good too. I burned 381 calories with this one which is pretty good for me for a hi/lo workout. This has more athletic choreography which is not difficult to pick up.

I had both of these workouts and traded them away. I found the Sculpt workout to be unsatisfying and incomplete, and it was not a challenge. I just didn't feel "worked out" like I do with a Cathe workout.

The Cardio Sweatfest is, imo, very boring and repetitious. The kickbox is tedious, and it did not raise my heartrate very much at all. The hi/lo was a mess choreographically and Tracey just looks plain uncomfortable doing it. Cueing was not good, and again intensity was just not there.

I also vote for Amy HLX as well as Amy KBX, both are good workouts that get your heart pumping!

I'm obsessed with Tracey's Sculpt and Step Sweatfest. (I haven't had the chance to try the KB yet but I can't wait--oooh, maybe tonight!)
I feel like her personality clicked with mine from the get-go and I just "got" the moves right away. The sculpt had me crying with DOMS the next day and the Step was just a sweaty, fun, intense workout. My only suggestion: PREVIEW the Step before attempting. There's very little breakdown (which makes for a tough first attempt, but a million more fun ones since it's not boring or repetative once you do it for the thousandth time!) I give Tracey 5 stars and I think you will too!!

I enjoyed Tracey's Kickbox portion of the Cardio Sweatfest; however, it isn't something that I would do if I want a killer kickbox workout. She repeats a lot (which can get boring as another poster mentioned), but overall it is a nice change. Have you tried Kimberley Spreen's Absolute Kickboxing ( I also love Cathe's KPC and KickMax)? I found this much more fun than Tracey's, but that is just my opinion. I started the hi/lo portion, but found myself bored during the warm up. I liked Amy Bento's Hi/Lo xtreme workout, but I don't do that often because I find it hard to do on carpet. Good luck in your decision. I don't think you will go wrong with Tracey's Sweatfest Kickbox if you are looking for a less intense kickbox routine that is easy to modify.

I also love Tracey!! I have all of her workouts and I find myself reaching for them a lot especially KB Sweatfest. Her sculpt though is not as intense as Cathe. I find myself doing it on easier days it really challenges your balance! Hope this helps:)

I love HISM and stepsweatfest. I have only done sculpt and kickbox once. I thought they were okay. Her ab section is killer though. Some of sculptfest might work good as add ons to Cathe weight workouts.

Hi/lo xtreme by Amy Bento is fun and time flies by, plus it has a several premixes with her all body pump footage that is decent and will leave you with some DOMS.

Also Amy's Kickbox Xtreme is fun, has great music and moves pretty quickly. If you do search for this one you will find all kind of reviews. It is one of my favs along with KPC.

Also Tracey will be having a new series coming out soon. It will have another HISM workout. I can't wait.:)

I actually really like her kickboxing. I think it does get repetitious BUT some of the moves are pretty unique and my arms are generally fried afterwards. I do think Tracey has great potential as an instructor and hope she soon comes into her own. :)

Thanks for all of the feedback. I think I am going to wait since Cathe is going to announce her presale soon.
