Retaining Water

I am in my 2nd week of STS. I have not been working out too good prior to starting back. I know our muscles swell when we begin lifting after a long break. How long can that last?
I remember one time a girl I know who is a personal trainer fell off the wagon so to speak and made the comment that she was gong to lose some weight before she started lifting again. She said I just can't mentally take that initial swelling and gain you get in the beginning of starting back.

I feel like my muscels are swollen but I am swollen too - like my fingers. No, it's not TTOTM and I have been watching my sodium. What's up with me???

I googled some stuff and I read some things about potassium ratio. I just don't know.

Do any of you have any insight?
 
One more thing..

Oh, something else that has changed with me...my breasts are different. They are bigger - yes probably from the swelling and weight gain - but they feel different. Like they are firmer than before. I'm not complaining about this but thought I'd throw it in there because there is a change in that for sure.
 
Sorry I can't help, just thought I'd let you know that I have experienced similar things. I haven't gained weight, just sort of gained puff during this first four weeks. And my boobs have become firmer too (definitely no complaint there)

I don't think Ihave experienced it to such a level as you, just to let you know you're not completely alone :)
