Results with BFL

For those of you that have done BFL will you PLEASE share your results? I need to know that there are actual results in order for me to stay motivated. Today is my 3rd week on BFL and I have only lost 1/2 of a pound. I know that I should not expect instant results but heck this is frustrating. I am eating very clean and exercising 6 days a week. I am not following the book's exercise plan. I am doing more cardio then the 20 minutes that Bill suggests and I am using Cathe's workouts (ex. PUB, PLB, S&H, PS Series, etc) in addition to my gym workouts. I have noticed no change in my body at all - clothes are not fitting any differently. The only thing that I have noticed is that I have more energy b/c of my new eating habits. Last year I lost 30lbs in 4 months doing WW but I know that even though I lost the weight I could've made healthier eating choices. WW lets you eat whatever you like even if it is McDonald's food.

I need to lose roughly 20-25lbs. Do you think there is hope for me on BFL or should I throw in the towel???

4 years ago, I did BFL and had great results. I was strict with the eating, but for the workouts I did the FIRM (this was pre-Cathe for me). I only worked out once a day and by the end of the 12 weeks I looked the best I ever had.

With the start of the January rotation, I also started BFL. I am in week 3, also with very little results. I've had a couple of cheat moments, but I figure I am working harder using Cathe than with the FIRM - so it should balance out. I'm not sure what the problem is, but I am going to give it 6 weeks, and if I haven't lost anything then I'm switching to WW. I'm hoping to lose 5-10 pounds.

Don't give up quite yet. Some plans take a while before you see results. I have incorporate BFL eating into my working out and have lost 5 pounds in two weeks. I am doing Cathe workouts and in the evening do a gliding workout. on the cardio days I do HIIT for 30 minutes on my bike and abs and the evening do some yoga. I hope this helps and I will start a BFL checkin and see who all joins in. If we get a favorable response I will keep it going. I will go post now and maybe this will help.

I tried BFL several years back and had good success with it. I lost several pounds and looked great...but as soon as I found out they sweeten the supplement drink mix with aspartame, I dropped the plan. Also, my schedule was so tight so I couldn't eat as often as I was supposed to, and finding workout time was often very frustrating.
