Remembering my Sister

I'm so sorry about your sister. I cried looking at your website for her-it is so wonderful that she was able to save other lives as an organ donor. Take care of yourself, and please have fun with those doggies!

Amy

Chastity, I understand how you are feeling today. The 10 year anniversary of my beautiful son is approaching and my family and I are also experiencing a realm of emotion. Every day is difficult, as you know, but milestones are especially hard to handle.

Through the years I have done all I can to make my son proud of me. He has two surviving triplet brothers ( now 15&1/2) and a younger brother (12) and my DH and I encourage them to live their lives to the fullest. Mostly because we know how quickly life can change from one second to the next, as I'm sure you know as well. You have obviously embraced that same mantra and have done so well to keep your sister close to your heart.

One thing I can share is that every once in a while I allow myself what I call a "pity party" day. I do exactly what you did this morning and just allow myself to feel the pain. Most days I have learned to go to a different place in order to survive. But once in a while I think it is good to acknowledge the pain that can build up and become unbearable. I know in the next two weeks I will need one of those days myself.

I will be praying for you. Hang in there and know that your sister is undoubtedly proud of and shining all of her love on you now and always.

Chasity ((((Hugs))) to you. I just wanted to say the pictures of your sister are beautiful. Thank you for sharing your memory book with us.

I am so glad that I popped in here tonight. Thank you for sharing your story. I know what it's like, I lost a brother on August 4, 1998. The nine year anniversary just passed, and while I deal with the day better than I used to, it's still so hard. I'm thinking of you.

Chastity,

We are all here with you. You expressed yourself so beautifully. What a wonderful tribute to your sis. {{{cyber hugs}}}

Brandi,

I'm holding your hand in support.

Both of you are in my thoughts at this moment,

jordan

Ok, I'm crying, now, too. I'm sorry for you and everyone that has lost a loved one. The site is beautiful, and so was your sister. I hope you relaxed and enjoyed your time with the doggies. Pets do sometimes have a 6th sense about when we need tlc. I remember that about my dog growing up. Take care, Nancy J.~~
