Recommendations for more leg conditioning drills

Hi everyone!

Absolutely love the leg conditioning drills on Cathe's Kickbox dvd. It's promoting great tone and I love how they target the waist/hips/back...where that sexy lower back curve is.

Are there any other similar leg drills or other workouts that target this area?

Thanx, everyone! ;-)

A few of Cathe's other leg workouts have sections that utilize floor work, the stability ball, a tension band, ankle weights, a body bar, or no weights in order to really fine tune the legs.
Pyramid Lower Body, Gym Style Legs, and Pure Strength Strong legs and Abs, all have more traditional standing leg exercises followed by sections of floor work using some of the above equipment.
Legs and Glutes uses light weights, no weights, and/or ankle weights during a variety of leg exercises for the entire video.
All of these videos are pure fun and pure pain}( }(
You might also consider a video like LoMax which has so much lower body work incorporated into step routines and blasts that you're lower body will really feel it!

I would like some recommendations also. Other than Lotte Berk and The Bar Method, are there any other videos/instructors that offer similar leg conditioning?

Lotte Berk and The Bar Method...

AngelaP, from the research I've done re Lotte Berk, it seems that her workouts are much easier than Cathe's. Beginners/Intermediate level.

I've got Cathe's Leg Pyramid & Gym Legs. Fantastic intensity!

I'm looking for Cathe's similar intensity.

Anyone else have any suggestions? Thanx!!

Legs and Glutes and Leaner Legs are my favorite Cathe leg workouts. That said, I also love Lotte and the Bar Method. I've been doing Cathe intensity for years and I find Lotte workouts (esp. the blasts!) to be tough too, just in a different way. The Lotte and Bar Method workouts use small pulsing movements, kind of like some of the exercises in Cathe's leg conditioning drills. No way are they beginner level, unless you're not putting your all into the workouts. As Cathe says "it's all about how you spend your time under tension!"

I agree that the Bar Method/Lotte Berk workouts could be a good add on for an extra burn in the legs and buns. I like the Bar Method much better than Lotte Berk (though I never could figure out how to feel the ab workout). Doing these workouts consistently really tightened my tush. After a few times doing the video, I just wrote down the routine and would do some of the exercises while I was watching tv in my pajamas, since you don't really work up a sweat. Or you can just add on the bun/thigh movements at the end of a kickboxing video (skipping the arms and abs sections). I also like to do the legs and buns portions from both Bar Method dvds back to back. You will be really sore the next day or so after doing these workouts for the first few time, because it works your muscles in a totally different way.

This makes we want to go home and start doing these exercises again more consistently!

Laura,
Kickmax has the a leg conditioning segment at the end of the workout.
It's a great one!
