You need a rebounder with a pretty firm bed to be able to jump as fast as most cardio videos. The Urban Rebounder has a firm bed. One trick to keeping a faster tempo on the rebounder is to be sure and jump down rather than up. If you keep a slight bend in your knees and keep the motion down into the mat you can do pretty well.
One cathe move that explains the down movement is one blast in IMAX 2, the one she calls genie arms. You hop on one foot and circle the arms.. I do that one getting doen low and trying to push through the mat to get my foot to touch the floor. That will give you a major burn in the hoping leg. I do most of cathe's IMAX and kick max blasts on the rebounder, some I just have to modify, like jumping the length of the step, those end up being tuck jumps.
