Reasonable Weight?

I am just barely 5 feet tall and I wiegh about 105 Lbs. I am fairly muscular and am trying to become even more so. Is this a reasonable weight for someone who wants to look nice and lean or is it too heavy? I am trying to figure out if I should lose some or just stay here. Any comments are VERY welcome! (I have heard that you are 5 foot 2 yourself so maybe you can understand my quandry!)

I'm not Cathe, and slightly taller (5'9") but most sources say that for a person with an avg. build (not overly muscular) should be 100 lbs for the first 5 ft. then 5 lbs heavier for each inch over 5 foot, so for me that would be 145. But depending on your build, you can be heavier or lighter. IMO, I think you are probably "just right", stay where you are and keep building that beautiful muscle!!! That'll really give you a lean toned shape! Just some numbers from grad school, hope they help!

Everybody carries there weight differently. So its hard to say what you look like at 105 pounds. For instance, many people guess me to be 5 to 10 pounds lighter than what I am. But in any case, rather than looking at the numbers on the scale, you should instead look in the mirror(please understand that my tone is very kind here). Do you think that you look nice and lean or too heavy? If you are happy with how you look, by all means, stay with your weight and continue to do what you are doing.

One thing I can comment on is that you said that you would like to become more muscular. If that is the case, then I would not suggest that you lose weight because that will make it a little harder for you to become more muscular. To build more muscle, you would be better off eating a few extra healthy calories rather than cut back on them.

Good Luck!
