Re: Water

Hi All, ;o)

I have a question regarding water. I am on a water kick! I have been drinking about 88 to 128 oz a day; and for me that’s excellent. I usually drink four 32 oz bottles a day, sometime falling short here and there. However, for the last 2 days I’ve been filling one of my 32oz bottle with 2 tea bags *green tea* and 3 packs of splenda. Question, can I still consider this too be water? Thanks.

Edited to add members of my family have a kidney condition which means we need to make sure we drink 1-2 litres of water a day not including other liquids.

My sisters doctor told her water is best but any liquid should be counted. I remember also watching a programme on this subject water gets round the body faster, other drinks you body needs to seperate whatever else is in there before utilising the water, some drinks like tea and coffee your body can't utilise the water at all.

I always drink lots of water, and additional drinks throughout the day especially as there are times I get fed up with water. But when I am very thirsty I drink 2 glass of room temperature water to get rid of that dry feeling. If I work out in the morning I add squash to my water and if I am working out for more than an hour.

RE: Squash?

Hi Babs,
I'm just curious....how do you add squash to your water?
Have a good day!
Angela:)

RE: Squash?

sorry its just an a mix of undiluted drink you add to water its called normally orange squash not the vegatable.

Sorry for the mix up.

I would say it does if it doesn't have caffeine. Double check your green tea - they do sell decaf, but most of the different kinds are regular (with caffiene).
