DD and I just bought our tickets for Rascal Flatts September 16th!!!! I can't wait to see them in concert!!!

I love their song "I Melt!" Sooooo romantic! It's on our Wedding CD. We made sure they played it at our wedding.

They are great!!! DD saw them at her college a few years ago before they really hit it big. I love that song too Dani.

I went to see Brooks & Dunn last year in concert and Montgomery Gentry were with them. That was an awesome show.

I listened to some of the samplers... not too bad... but then I listen to all kinds of music... mostly hip hop, country.. I like to run to hip hop.

Is this what's called alternative music? I have had much exposure to it.

It's industrial/alternative. Alternative is a very wide range of things. Tool, however, is in a class of their own and it's difficult to define them. And they're lyrics are like poetry.

Hee....I only know who Racal Flatts is cause my DD really likes them....I, despite living in VA for 8 years am not a country music fan....I'm with Shelley...give me a little Tool, Godsmack, Fuel, Incubus. But you know what's wierd: I love the opposite side of the spectrum too....love all Celtic tunes...Seven Nations, Flogging Molly, Enter the Haggis, Drop Kick Murphy's, and then some Jack Johnson, DMD,. I think as you get older your music tastes become more varied....but more personal somehow. My kids think my taste in music is very strange.

I'm so jealous! I LOOOOOVE Rascal Flatts! Their song "God Blessed the Broken Road" is me and my bf's "song".

I like the opposite side, too, Donna! I love country but I also love to rock to Linkin Park, Incubus, Godsmack.

That is one of my favorites songs, "God Blessed the Broken Road". It is beautiful. I love a variety of music. DH goes ballistic when he gets in my vehicle, cranks it up and Gwen Stefani comes blaring out of the speakers... LOL.. so funny.

I just bought Papa Roach's new album, "Getting Away with Murder". The song "Scars" is fantastic.

It helps to have a 22-year-old daughter.... keep you up on the latest things. Oh, I like Linkin Park too.
