I was wondering the same thing but no one answered me. I read some where here that not to focus on the leg excercises. (The leg excercises are mostly 1 and 2 star excercises)because everyone is different and can hold different dumbell weight according to your weight and height. So just pick a weight that is comfortable for you. It was in the sts forum or cathe forum. Topic called 1 repmax leg or something like that. My question was there are so many excercises that are very similar like barbell curls vs wide barbell curls incline flyes vs flat bench flyes....
I did all of them, minus a hand full of 1 stars, mainly the ones I did not do, the weight is almost irrelevant, like sit and stands, I can barely do them without weight. But in general there are quite a few leg exercises with 3-5 stars that will be important to do.
I am working on the 4 and 5 star first. I'll probably make it through the 3 stars for upper body (then the twos) but I'm not going to do 3 or lower for the legs.
I think a lot of people aren't doing the legs because they don't have heavy enough weights or a squat rack to support the weights they'd have to lift to get the calculation. I found that I can squat more than I can lift over my head, and more than the vest + my max overhead weight. Since I do not have a gym membership where I can test with a rack, nor do I have a rack, I'll have to pass on those tests.
