Questions for Lift, Move & Restore 2 Elevated - Questions??

With my new Lift, Move & Restore 2: ELEVATED series, you’ll get a nice mix of the challenging routines you want and the restorative workouts that your mind and body need. This is a very important compromise that we must all learn to make if we want to stay strong and injury-free, especially as we age. I hope you’ll be joining me on this journey!
Sigh...I still have questions that are unanswered by the email from today :(

FWIW... I ordered the pre-sale (why do I feel like this is the first time I ordered pre-sale... maybe I did do the pre-sale with STS 2.0, as well...)

I'm keeping my order - yes, the four free heavy weight downloads sweetened the deal, and I feel like it's a sort of peace offering to keep people feeling at ease and occupied while they wait for the set to come out.

Given that these are probably going to be filmed and sent out in fairly quick succession, I highly doubt they'll be chaptered. I kinda hope they're filmed in her nice studio and not the LIVE gym, but I guess we'll see!

Anyway, I'm also okay with a risk of this new set not being particularly challenging. (I agree it would be nice if she would give us a comparison, however, but it's not a deal-breaker for me.)

Like others, I don't mind having a nice, big library of workouts at varying levels of difficulty. I can 100% say I've relied on LITE, for instance, to get me back on my fitness path, and won't mind more workouts that are on the lighter side that I can throw in and use either in times of coming off a period of inactivity, or during active recovery weeks. And it'll be nice to have lots more of those lighter workouts to choose from instead of maybe just 5 or so (throwing out a random number).

So, like, if I want HIIT cardio, well, Cathe's got close to 20 workouts to choose from (as an approximate). If I want mobility, she's currently got, like 4-ish (not counting her yoga workouts - which I actually don't care for, with the exception of the one in LMR).

Anyway. That's just me, and I also totally get not wanting to commit, especially if lighter workouts (or the risk of ending up with lighter workouts) just are not your cup of tea.

Like for me - if she did another total cardio series and was vague about whether it would be overflowing with HIIT or if it would be steady state or step or what have you, I'd also not want to jump in on a pre-sale and would prefer to wait until I could review the workouts first after they'd launched to determine if they're ideal for my preferences.

In fact, that's usually how I've purchased Cathe's workouts and sets... way after they were released because I wanted to review them first. I even stayed away from XTrain for a long time because of all the HIIT, but eventually decided to go for it.

But yeah... again... she got me at "four free heavy weight workouts"with this one. lol
My pre order was made before the bonus of 4 workout- offering.:D:D
I never cancelled a cathedotcom pre-order :) ;)
I solely pre-order

I am fine adding a second recovery series. Variety is good to keep the motivation high.
Today I did functional upper body and I have already increased the Weight and I enjoyed the workout. I enjoyed it not just because of the intensity. The balance, the coordination, the flexibility/stretching and the mobility challenge have their place as far as health is concerned.

I can not wait to see the line up of those four free heavy weight workout:D

Hi Everyone,

I’m so excited to announce my newest series Lift, Move & Restore 2: Elevated Functional Training for the Actively Aging Lifestyle!

Functional training is coming back to play once again! The response to the original Lift, Move & Restore series was overwhelmingly positive, so this time around we’re going to light a little fire under our functional training routines with slightly heavier weights, tougher challenges, and the addition of calorie busting cardio!

This new elevated sequel to the Lift, Move & Restore series will not only give newer exercisers something to grow to after mastering the original series, but it will also have a vibe all its own to challenge experienced exercisers while also focusing on the balance, mobility, flexibility, and endurance training that we need for longevity!

WHAT’S INCLUDED?

Lift, Move & Restore 2: Elevated consists of 7 new workouts that will take our functional training up to the next level in intensity, in challenge, and in sweat factor. We will revisit some of the workout types from the original series, but with a new flair that gives them fresh energy. Also included in this new series are 4 cardio bonus workouts each coming it between 30 to 35 minutes. These 4 bonus workouts will be low impact cardio routines (with options to be mixed impact) and can be used with the series to add some extra heart healthy benefits to your workout schedule. I really think you will love these new workouts as they are the perfect sequel to a series that has very quickly become beloved…plus I’ve already been cooking up some really fun choreography for them!!!

As always in the early stages of a series, I can’t get too specific with details because the workouts will change and grow as we make our way through rehearsals, but you can expect to see the workouts listed below!

MAIN WORKOUTS
1 Elevated Upper Body
2 Elevated Lower Body
3 Elevated Total Body
4 Barre Bootcamp
5 Elevated Mobility
6 Core & Flexibility
7 Balance Fusion

BONUS WORKOUTS
1 HiiT Fusion
2 Low Impact Cardio Fusion
3 PHA Cardio Fusion
4 Kickbox Fusion

WILL THESE BE RELEASED ON DVD OR DOWNLOAD ONLY?

One big question mark that I saw floating around in both the forums and on Facebook is “will this new series be released on DVD?” We’ve mentioned how difficult the DVD making process has become in recent years and it has led to delays and hiccups that have caused some frustration for us and of course for you as you wait for your workouts. This being said, we know that many of you still love physical DVDs and we want to support that as long as we logistically and financially can, but kindly understand that this also takes your support in purchasing DVDs. So, the short answer is YES! We will be releasing this new series on DVD. The “longer” answer is that from this point forward we will take each series as it comes and decide, based on the most recent series DVD sales volume, as to whether we will continue to offer them on DVD and download or simply download exclusively.

This brings me to my next “bonus” point!

WE WANT TO SAY THANK YOU!

While we will, as always, work as quickly as we can to get these workouts out to you, we know that waiting on presales can be rough, so let’s talk about an ADDED BONUS! Yes! You know I love my “bonuses ”!

MANY of you requested heavy weight training workouts in my recent series suggestions post and I heard you! While Lift, Move & Restore 2: Elevated will not include slower, heavy weight training, it WILL (as an extra incentive) include 4 FREE slower and heavier weight workout downloads that I will be filming with my cast separately and will be available to ONLY those that pre-order the new Lift, Move & Restore 2: Elevated series. These heavy weight FREE downloads will be released one at time throughout the presale period as a pre-sale only bonus, so don’t wait if you want to start enjoying the downloads as they are released!

The heavy weightlifting download workouts are being filmed as a “pre-release” THANK YOU to so many of you that take part in our presales and then wait patiently for the project to be completed and delivered to your door.

*Estimated To Ship Summer 2025

Does anyone know if the downloads will eventually be available for sale on DVD? Right now, I think i'm more interested in the strength downloads, instead of the entire series.
Thanks for the feedback. I might just wait for the series to be released and just order individual workouts. I prefer strength and total body workouts. From the description, I don't see many workouts in this series that would fit into that category.
