Question on bicep curls

Hey Cathe!
Two questions
1. I keep getting tendinitis in my wrists. I think they may be from bicep curls, but i am not completely sure. Any tips on better form so I do not keep having this problem?

2. Right now I cannot lift because I have tendinitis. When I start again, how should I start? Should I start out slow or jump right in?

Thanks a lot!

I would check to see if you are gripping the dumbbell too tightly. You should be gripping it just enough to keep from dropping it.

Also watch to see if you are bending at the wrists at all: they should be straight throughout the move.

Be sure to stretch the wrists after you workout by bending the hand down and holding, then bend the hand up and hold.
