Hi, Anna. Remember me? A while back I asked about bodywraps. You gave me some beauty tips and recommended to use a body scrub, preferably with dead sea salt. I have a question: Does it have to be *dead*? I found a website where they sell 25 pounds of Sea Salt for $85.00. They first advertise it as Dead Sea Salt, but when you go to the ordering page it only says Sea Salt. Also, if Sea Salt also work, how many baths do you think I can have with 25 pounds?

Yes, the salt you have seen on the internet will be fine. To make a body scrub out of it, you need to mix it with a body lotion in a bowl (so it is like a gritty consistency), and in circular movements apply all over the body, on dry skin, paying particular attention to ankles, elbows and knees. Rinse off in the shower. This exfoliation will only be needed to be done once a week.
The salt can also be used in a warm bath, for aches, and pains, aching joints, and it is excellent for eczema/dry skin types. Be careful the eczema is not weeping as the salt will sting.
Dead sea salt comes from the Dead Sea, and it is full of minerals, which is excellent for the skin. When using it in the bath, do not mix it with a bubble bath.

Forgot to answer this - 25 pounds of dead sea salt will give you LOADS of baths ! And it will probably come in a MASSIVE bag ! Do they sell a smaller size ? If they do, go for a smaller size !

Thank you for your replies. I found another website where they have more sizes and lower prices. They also have emu oil, which I was looking for too, and jojoba oil at a lower price than the one I buy. They have ingredients to make soaps, etc.
