Question about Strength Training Anatomy book

There are two Strength Training Anatomy books by Frederic Delavier available. One is titled "Strength Training Anatomy" and the other is "Strength Training Anatomy for Women"

I'm wondering which one I would benefit from the most. Is the book written specifically for women comprehensive? Does it contain variations and/or modifications?

Do any of you own either of these books and if you do, which one would you recommend?

Thanks!

I believe Cathe recommends the "Strength Training Anatomy for Women".

Yes. It is a very easy to read book and most of all, very easy to understand. I like this book and use it a lot.

I have Strength Training Anatomy. I highly recommend it! It was like my bible when I was studying for my ACE exam! I've only glanced at the Women's book but all I remember is the illustrations grossing me out!

The two Strength Training anatomy books are actually ONE book in the original French (which I picked up).

The women's version acts like women don't have upper bodies to worry about, as it's primarily lower body exercises.

Yes, I actually purchased this book, read it, and promptly brought it back due to the lack of upper-body info. If it would have been total body, it would have been a keeper.
