I just recently started exercising again after a long vacation from it. I need to lose around 8 lbs. and have been doing fast walking on the treadmill for 2 mi. and some light weights (lunges, squats) and some lunges with no weight, like an explosive type lunge (Only way I can describe it).
I have noticed my knees feeling a little funny In general and especially if I squat down to the floor to pick up something.
Is this normal because of the increase in activity or should I quit the jumping type lunges? When I work with the weights I am very careful and don't go very low, also I have no past knee problems whatsoever.
Thanks!
Cheryl
