question about Slide n Glide

I bought it and plan to do it tomorrow. What do u like about it? How does it rank on the intensity scale?? I haven't done anything with the discs and I'm wondering what I can expect. Thanks and happy workouts!!! :)
 
I like Slide and Glide a lot. I found it to be a fun workout and it was a very nice break from the others in the LI series. The discs provide you with a great way to really extend and work the lower body, especially quads and inner thighs. I found this less intense than the other workouts, but it still had me huffing and puffing. I would rate it a little more challenging that cardio super sets, but not as challenging as athletic training. When I first did it it caused me some discomfort in my back, I think it's just the way weight is distributed when using the discs, but this went away after using it a few times. I'm actually going to do this workout this morning as well as my cardio for the July rotation, and I'm looking forward to it because its a nice change.

I love Slide and Glide, too; it's a quick, fun, and different kind of cardio burst that really works the legs and glutes.

Just a helpful hint in case you hadn't heard, if you're on carpet and the discs don't slide super smoothly then you can spray them with pledge or endust; it makes them slide easier.
I thought mine slide okay but I tried it anyway and zoom zoom we went! LOL!
