Question About Shoes

I really like my Ryka's. The Enlight style has a higher ankle but I have a chip in mine so the higher ankle bothers me. I purchased my Ryka Affirm XT's on sierratradingpost.com and I love them. Sierra Trading Post has them for much cheaper than I found them elsewhere and they are very nice there.

Hope that helps,
Nicole

Don't you like to try the shoe before you buy it?
I see that most of you buy it on-line... I need to go to the store to try them first....I believe they sell it at Foot lockers, dicks, etc. Honestly i NEVER heard of this brand before.

I can't find your model either in the website... am I in the wrong web site?

I think there's not really a best shoe for Cathe's workouts, but it's more a matter of finding the best cross-trainer for YOU. I prefer to go to a store and try them on, too, but once I know I like a particular model, I will buy online if I know that shoe works for me and I can get a better deal there.

Happy shopping!
Cathy :)

I completely agree with Cathy! Shoes are such an individual thing because everybody's feet are different. Go somewhere that is knowledgeable about aerobics or running or whatever you'll be doing in the shoe, and let them fit you.

I just purchased the Ryka Studio over the weekend from Shoesontheweb and they are here already!
I haven't had a chance to wear them to workout, but I love them!!! They have a lot of cushion to them, and really good support.

Ryka cross trainers are REALLY hard to find at the mall. The last time I went shoe shopping I saw maybe 2-3 models of Rykas and they were all walking shoes so I ended up getting Nike crosstrainers. They have worked well so far in terms of cushioning and stability, but they are not lightweight at all. I love to do online shopping except for shoes. I've had tons of bad experiences before. I think it's better to try the shoes first.
