question about number of posts

i was just wondering why some people with a few posts are welcomed while other get flamed? i guess i don't really have right to say anything since this is a free forum compared to all the others that are pay but i guess if someone has been buying Cathe's videos for the last few years they should be allowed to post without being flamed.

Fitnfirm, I don't quite know what you mean? I have posted over 900 times and I have never been flamed. I am sure some folks roll their eyes at the sight of my name but no one has ever been anything but kind to me here. There are lurkers and then there are we opinionated creatures who can't resist anwering as many posts as possible! If anyone flamed you, they weren't playing nice and that's a shame but post as much as you like. That's what these forums are for!

I agree that whether or not one is flamed is not related to number of posts. It depends on who's online when you post, what you say, how you say it, how it's perceived, what the thread was doing before you posted...etc. etc. etc.

I have been flamed, but I don't care. Don't take it personally. The flamer doesn't know you. It's like getting honked at by another driver.

Fitnfirm8121, Even if they haven't been buying videos for the last few years they should be allowed to post without getting flamed. And, no matter how many posts they have, they should be welcomed. Are you talking about something that happened to you, or someone else? Just curious ... and hoping it didn't happen to you personally on here ... I haven't seen anything posted by you on here recently where you got flamed, but sometimes things get missed, so if it happened to you, I am sorry that it did. Let us know what happened so we can help fix it if we can, okay? And, you do have the right to say something, whether or not it's a free forum. It's still a free country, after all ...

Mogambo, that is such a good point! It's so easy to take things on the Internet personally, and I am certainly guilty of that myself. Thank you for bringing up a very good point!
