Question about Legs

Hi Cathe,

First let me say that I love all of your new Hard Core workouts; they are fabulous!

I was wondering if you could answer a question for me. I have a problem most women I think have, I want to shrink my thighs and calves. I realise genetics, diet, and exercise all play a key role in doing that. I have been trying to match you weight for weight when I do my lower body work, and have noticed good muscle definition. I also try to do cardio at least four times a week (to DVD's) as well as try to get in a 30-minute power walk. I have not lost any inches yet - I have only been doing this for about four to five months. Could it be that I just have not given it enough time? Do you have to build up the muscle first and eventually the weight will burn off?

I have been worried that I may be bulking because of the definition without inches lost, but could it be that first the muscle has to develop and eventually with more cardio and clean eating this muscle will eventually burn the weight off?
