Question about Bootcamp....

Due to the holiday season approaching and things getting crazy (I'm a teacher and mother of a toddler), I've decided to streamline my workouts and get my cardio done in about 30-40 min. I love CTX and would like to create my own CTX workouts.

For those who have done the Bootcamp premixes, What are your opinions of the premixes, specifically the one that has Cardio/Lower Body and the one for Just Cardio? Does anyone know how long these premixes are? Just curious.

Thanks for the help!!
Jessi:) :)

I think the cardio only is 20 min. but that includes warm up and stretch. Cardio and lowerbody is around 35 min. These are my two favorite premixes of the Intensity Series. I also like the 6-10 premix of Imax II and the Blast Mania premix from Imax II. Other options are the Cardio and Weights step only premix, the step segment from Body Max, the hi/lo from MIC, the power circuit segment from Body Max, the list goes on and on. Did I even answer your initial question? Someone take my keyboard away.

Well if you want opinions of premixes form Intensity series here are a few.

*Boot Camp Cardio/lower body pre mix is my favorite. It is, as Jillybean says, about 30-35" and intense. If I want a longer cardio that day I tack on the kickbox only premix. I forget how long that is, but the workout is still way under an hour.

*C&W timesaver step is great too!
*Another good short cardio is to do the hi/lo only or step only of MIC just make sure you do a warm up and cool down.
* Also sometimes you can do part 1 of Bodymax or just parts 1&2
* Sometimes I just do the first 35-40" of Rhythmic Step or Cardio Kicks and then some upper body work, like PUB pyramid up only. A nice compliment to this coulc be PLB and Imax-2 first 5 or second 5 intervals. Cathe introduced this in a rotation.

Thanks of all of the suggestions. You guys have given me some GREAT ideas.

I have just gone through about 2 weeks of being VERY UN-MOTIVATED and hitting the snooze button. This week, Good Ole' CTX has brought me back to the land of the motivated and exercising. I'm looking forward to creating my own CTX style workouts using the suggestions. Thanks a million!!

Jessi:)
