Question about 4DS

I just bought 4DS off eBay... I would have loved to purchase it off cathe.com, but didn't have the money, and didn't mind that it was used.

I suspect I may have a bootleg copy, though. It came in a black DVD jewel case, and it looks authentic, but the graphics are really grainy. The DVD labels seem to be paper, and they are grainy as well. The backside of the DVDs are purple (like they would be on a DVD+R). The quality just isn't consistent with my other Cathe DVDs. I guess I'm just naturally suspicious. Cathe could have used a different company to produce this workout, and I'm getting all worked up over nothing. Did Cathe use a different production company on 4DS or did I get duped? Could someone who has 4DS that they ordered from cathe.com tell me what color the back of their DVDs are and what the labels look like. If this is illegal, I'd like to report it to eBay. :-(

There are actually 2 DVD's to 4DS...They look like all the other videos of Cathe's....the backs are silver and the photo on the front is exactly the same quality as all of her other DVD's.....sounds to me like you got a copy

Unfortunately you did get a copy...I got one also! I had the 4Day Split orignally from Cathe, but it got broken. So I bought a used one on eBay since I couldn't afford the full price again.

My origianl was smooth filing style, not grainy. The DVD case was slim and professional looking. My "used" DVD is exactly how you described it! I would report it to eBay, I did! I also think there is a way to infor the reps at cathe.com about the bootleg DVDs...copy right infrigement.

Yeah, there are 2 DVDs in this set, but the backs are purplish. There are no little words printed on the back side in the middle ring of the disk like my other Cathe DVDs. For example, my LOW MAX dvd says "LOW MAX" in tiny words on back of the disk at the center around the hole. Does that make sense? It sounds like I got a counterfeit...

DANG IT! This is the second Cathe couterfeit I've purchased off eBay. It's so hard to tell what sellers are actually selling their used copies and what sellers are dishonest. x( I asked the seller before bidding about the condition of this DVD set, and she said it was a used workout from her personal collection. After I won the auction, she listed another exact copy.

SHe did that to me also!!! I bet we got it from the same person! She starts her bids at $19.99 there's one on ebay for sale from this same buyer! She also told me it was original from her personal collection.

There has to be a way of dealing with these people!?

I think if you report the ebay seller to Cathe's customer service department they may deal with ebay or the seller.

Also I'm not too sure about this, but I think if you buy your DVD directly from Cathe.com it may have some type of lifetime warranty. You may want to check to see if you could have a replacement for the broken DVD. I seem to remember reading something about replacements on these forums.
