Q re: gaining strength

I did S&H this week for the first time in about a month and a half and was able to up my weights on all except shoulders. I have done 2 S&H rotations before and not gone up with weight at all. Before this week I was doing CTX. Could that have made me stronger? I also do about 15 min. of toning with 5 lb weights in my aerobics class each week. Would that have anything to do with it? I figured since CTX was an endurance workout I might come back to S&H the same or using even less weight so I was surprised. I'm just trying to figure out what "works for me". I can also see muscle for the first time ever which is nice!

Thanks to anyone who might have some thoughts.

Hi Andrea! Genetics are a tricky thing. Everyone gets stronger in different ways and on their own genetic program. This obviously was your "growth spurt" period. Keep up the great work:)!
