Good Mornig PYGFOers!

Today was 3 mile run and CK. I am more than ready for my rest day tomorrow.:p I have Fall Break today...so no school for me!!:7 :7 :7

Vicki-- Thank you for the sweet words! You are too kind and just made my day. I loved your description of the jazz class. I know I would have been very challenged. Just watch the clip of the RT step class, if you don't believe me!!x(

Lara--LoMax is a leg and cardio w/o IMO! Don't be too concerned about you 5 extra lbs. on the dr's scale. I know my dr's scale is always higher than my own. You are so young and will get it off in no time!!

Good morning. Well the drama continues with my sofa. They managed to get me a replacement this morning. It looks great but there's only one problem. The reclining mechanism is broken on one side. At this point, I just have to laugh. I called customer service and gave them hell. I am keeping the couch this time until we get a replacment next week. I will never buy furniture from that place again. A woman has her limits and mine have been reached. Craziness.

Walked with my neighbor this morning. I really need to do a kickbox tonight and let off some steam.

Lara - yes I definitely wouldn't be concerned about the doc's scale. I am always at least 5 lbs heavier than at home.

Vicki and Gin - count me in on the jazz class challenged. Hey Gin at least you were keeping up with the step class. I was happy shooting my video during it. :)

I just got back from teaching. Whew, I am kind of shot today. It's going to be TTOTM any second now, so that must be why!

Gin: Actually, it looked like you did pretty darn good in step class. I love your red , white and blue outfit. Every time I watch that clip it makes me feel patriotic! ;)

Tess: Well, I suppose I can't come to Atlanta. I mean, if you can't even have decent couches with working recliners for my butt to sit on, what's the point??? Okay, okay, take a deep breath and try to relax. I can't imagine how frustrated you are, but once you have the couch you'll forget this whole fiasco! OMG... the countdown begins! Less than one week and I'll be in Atlanta!!! WOOHOO!!

Lara: I honestly have to say that it seems like doctor's scales are always heavier than home scales!! I wouldn't get too upset. I don't even let them weigh me anymore. The nurses always get pissed, but unless it's a necessity I don't feel the need. It just messes with my head too much.

You guys crack me up with the jazz class thing. It's funny for me because from the age of 4 until 21 I was a dancer. I danced with several professional companies through those years.(Actually, my grandfather and father also were dancers. My dad tap danced on the Milton Berle show, Star Time Kids and the Bonnie Maid show. You''d never know it now... he's a big construction looking guy!) Once I stopped, the weight started to come on and when I started up again almost 5 years ago, it all came back to me, at least in my mind. I have never been the same dance wise obviously, and as I get older I just find that sometimes my balance is off and of course I'm in class with young girls/women. Also, trying to remember combinations is harder than years ago. I am a living testament to the aging process! Well, at least I still do my best and dancing is still part of my soul, you know. I feel so blessed to be able to dance at all again at my age!

Okay, I must go do an UB w/o. I'm thinking PP 2x. Then off to Wal Mart to buy tiny size stuff for my trip next week. Did I mention I'm going to Atlanta to see Tess??? HEHE!

BTW, where is Liann?? I just realized I haven't seen her around the last several days. Did she go away or something? Liann, if you are out there, I miss you! I hope everything is okay!

Well today was Amy Bento's ASC, then B&G#4. I am trying a 4 day split this week, and I'm lovin' it! I'm working out a total of 90 min for 4 days, then taking 3 days off(not in a row).
That is one thing I could not relate to in that thread in OC- about NOT taking rest days. I believe in taking my rest days, and will usually try to find ways to take extra:+ I feel no pressure to kill myself working out by reading this forum;)

Hello.

I appreciate all of your advice. I am trying not to stress about it (the scale). I just need to try to eat a little cleaner than I have been. Today was B&G with all bonuses and abs. I think my legs were still tired from yesterday's w/o. I needed to do cardio, but not enough time today.
Tomorrow, I think I will try some classes at the gym we just joined. I am now a member of 2 gyms. I have not been to my gym in quite awhile since I found Cathe. Before Cathe, I was a gym rat! I do love lifting weights at a gym, but it has been more convienient to stay at home and workout with Cathe. I am going to check out the step class and a class that combines pilates/yoga/and something else?. We will see how it compares to Cathe.

Gin...I hope you enjoyed your day off and your rest day!! How is CK? I don't have that one.

Tess...I can't believe you are still having trouble with your furniture!! I hope you were able to let off some steam with a good KB workout!!

Vicki...I didn't know you could do that! Maybe I will turn down the nurse next time. For some reason, seeing a number on a scale makes me feel horrible and let down. I would rather judge my weight by how my clothes fit, or by how I look in a mirror. I have found that I become too obsessed with my weight if I see a number. You are going to have SO much fun in Atlanta!!! Please give us all the details!!

Michelle...How is ASC? I have pre-ordered Amy's new ones. I have her KBX, Hi/LoX, but have only done them a few times. I also have APX, but haven't done it yet. Have fun with your 4-day split!!

Tomorrow is tailgating and football. I love college sports, but we are not doing very well this year:( Hopefully, I will like my new classes tomorrow! Have a great Saturday!!
