Puzzle Mats. Here we go again.

I was checking out the "3/8" Multi-Purpose" puzzle mats over at GetRung.com and was wondering if these would be what I need for plyos atop my hardwood floors? The price includes the edges, comes in lots of fun colors, and falls in line with my budget. But, nowhere on their site does it indicate they're great for plyo jumping (or any form of aerobics) and isn't 3/8" a bit thin?

I can't afford PAVI tiles and am looking for the next best thing. Is this it or am I living in Fantasyland?

Help.

I got mine at Lowe's. They came in packs of four I think they were around 15.00 a pack. I really like them. Melissa

Would these work well over a cement floor? Is there enough cushioning? I am used to working out on padded carpet, but we are considering re-doing the basement that now has a cement floor.

Thanks,
Gin:)

How big are they and how thick?

I use [a href="http://www.amazon.com/Ironman-Deluxe-Flooring-System-2x2/dp/B000EJTEJ0"]Ironman[/a] puzzle mats and love them (2 packages).

There's some kind of coating on them that transfers to my shoes and makes stepping more slippery, so I have to cover my step with a beach towel. Other than that, they're fantastic. I would have knee pain for days after a step workout before buying these mats. Now ~ nothing. :)

I bought the 20 mm Ironman mats that Laughingwater recommended about two weeks ago, and I love them! I'm also having a few problems with them being a little slippery, but my knees and ankles are in heaven! :)
