Pure Strength

My Cathe collection is almost complete. I'd like to know if I need Pure Strength if I have Slow & Heavy, Gym Styles, Pyramids, Muscle Max, Power Hour, Muscle Endurance, Body Max and MIS? Anything that stands out in Pure Strength? Any different exercises? Tell my why I do or don't need Pure Strength. Thanks.

Marcy

You only need them if you get bored easily and want some variety. IMO, the Gym Styles are a freshened up version of Pure Strength. Personally, I like to do a week of GS, then a week of PS, then a week of SH. But I can't say there's anything in them that you aren't getting in all your other workouts.

HTH,

Thanks for the help ladies. I think I'm going to hold off on this one for a while. My credit card has gotten quite a workout. I think I have enough to hold me off for a while.

I have the all the same DVDs as you do, and I'm glad I have Pure Strength. The body parts are mixed up a little bit, but I like them because they are actually a little shorter than Gym Styles. So if I don't have as much time, and don't feel like Slow & Heavy, I can do the Pure Strength series. And, as always, the variety thrown at my muscles keeps them guessing, which is always good. I like this series.

I don't have the Gym Styles, but I have many of the others you listed. Pure strength is the series I get the most DOMS with, although I find the other workouts just as hard. Interesting...

Marcy,

You have to have variety in exercising to make progress. You'll be glad you bought it.
