I saw that this DVD is on sale and wondered if it was a good purchase for someone who is an intermediate weight lifter. I do weights 3 days a week and use 8 to 15 lb. dumbells. If you could rate it and/or tell me a more appropriate one.

This was one of my first Cathe weight dvds. Cathe uses a barbell Not sure I remember the weight load, maybe 40#??) and around 10-15# dumbbells. You can just use what you have and build up. Actually I started lower and built up to a 75# barbell and 20# -25# dumbbells. This did take quite awhile. I think that it is a worthwhile series that you can grow with. I will say Cathe has more up to date workouts that are in the same rep range. PS does mostly basic moves and is a good workout for getting into heavier weights. It has been awhile but I believe it runs between 12 and 16 reps per set.

Thank you for the review of the Pure Strength Series. It was very helpful. I also went to your website and you obviously know something about weights. Your physique is flawless! I would love to know about your diet. Can one be that lean and muscular and be a vegan?
