Hi TC! Yes, you will be fine starting out PS with light weights once per week. Since this is new for you, you will get great conditioning results along with strength gains. As these weights become too light for you, increase the weight gradually. Over time you will see great strength improvements. You may never need to do this tapes series more than one time per week. If you feel that your results are just shy of what you want to see, then add the second time in per week. But do not make this decision until you have done the series one time per week for at least 8 to 10 weeks. Good Luck!
