PS vs S&H

This question has probably been asked before, but I was wondering if I should purchase Pure Strength if I already own Slow & Heavy? Besides owning S&H I also own the IS Series, BB Series, Power Hour, MIS, MIC, Bodymax, Rhythmic Step, & PowerMax.

Lately I have been thinking of doing a heavy strength rotation, but I was wondering if it is enough using MIS, PUB, PLB, & S&H? If you think I should buy the PS Series, please let me know how it varies from S&H.

Thanks in advance for all of your help.

Hi there,
Pure Strength is much faster paced than S&H. I personally don't feel much speed difference between any of Cathe's workouts, except for Slow and Heavy. It is MUCH slower than her other workouts.
That said, I love Pure Strength and I think everyone should own all of Cathe's strength workouts.
:)

PS is your regular strength workout. In one post, Cathe classified MIS as a gym-style home workout and PS as a strength workout, but I also think PS is gym-style in many ways.

S&H is, as the name describes, a strength training workout using the heaviest weights you can handle (I usually go a notch lighter) and doing very slow reps. Cathe uses a 6-2 count: 6 going up, 2 coming down. Someone please correct me if my memory serves me wrong here. The objective of S&H is to recruit more muscle fibers for more strength and eventually, more mass. It requires so much mental focus for me, and I can only do it for two weeks at a time.
