PS vs. S&H

Hi everyone.

I'm sorry this has probably been asked before: but what is the difference between PS and S&H?

I've been doing CTX strength videos for over 2 months now. I certainly have the definition and a nice cut look in my upper body, but now I really want to get bigger in my upper body and can't decide which video to buy. (My DH will only let me get one for now!)

I would particularly like to get bigger shoulders, and biceps.

Thanks for your help!

Slow and Heavy does three sets of 8 reps per exercise. For shoulders, you do things like front raises, side raises, and overhead presses. You do 2 counts on the negative, 6 counts on the positive. Cathe uses a 10% tilt that takes all the momentum out of the move and makes you use 100% of your strength. It is very challenging, physically and mentally. PS usually has 2 sets of 12 or 16 reps. For shoulders you do the same exercises as listed above, but usually in a 2/2 count or at tempo. They are both great series. I too started with a CTX rotation (6 weeks). Then I did PS for 8 weeks, which increased the size in my arms and shoulders and really built on the definition I had in my lower body from Leaner Legs. I then went to S&H for 3 weeks. This helped me see strength gains and more definition in my shoulders and biceps. I personally would start with PS and wait until you can buy another video. Then I'd go for S&H. Have fun!
