PS Legs combined with cardio?

Hi Cathe (and everyone)
When I do PS legs in the morning, I always ride my stationary bike for 30 minutes in the evening for a cardio workout. My question is: if I am using my leg muscles for the bike ride, am I sabotaging any muscle gains that I am gaining from the am weight workout? I know the muscles need time to recover and am wondering if I should do a less intense cardio in the evening or not. The bike ride definitely works my legs. Thanks a lot!! Hi Erica!

If you have really pushed yourself hard on your leg workout, so hard that you are already feeling tightness in your legs at the time of your evening bike ride, then I would say that it is better if you by pass on the bike ride for that evening. If you are doing more of a maintenence leg workout(using the same weights that you always do), then you should be fine riding at night.
