Hi Cathe,
I finally received PS BBA on Friday. (Woo hoo!) I broke it in yesterday (I only hurled something at the screen once). Despite a few choice words that came out of my mouth, I loved the workout.

Got a question on the Tbar Rows. I have a 48 inch barbell and it seemed like it was a little on the short side for me to do the rows (I am 5’8). The other end of the barbell was coming off of the ground while I was trying to row. I broke down and used a towel to assist in my rowing. Should I get a longer barbell or was I doing something wrong? Any suggestions you or anyone else can give me will be appreciated.

Thanks
Jill (who is on the “short bus” when it comes to learning your step tapes…still learning the Wedding tape and Mega Step Blast)

Hi, Jill!

I have a shorter bar as well, so what I do is wrap a hand towel under the bar to cradle it, and pull up on both sides of the towel. It works really well for me. I can really feel it in my back!

You'll probably have to experiment a little bit to figure out how close to the bar to hold the towel for the best effect. I find that if I hold it about 4" up from the bar I get a good range of motion. I'm only 5'5 1/2" though. You may need a bit more towel between your hands and the bar to get the best effectiveness. Good luck!

Thanks Erin

I tried the towel and it works like a charm! Thanks again!
