protein shake without suppliments

Hi cathe I have read that you can create your own protein shakes just by using milk and not all the whey powders out there. My question is do you think using milk instead is just adding more pound. I can't do the whey powders because the upset my stomache, but I need the added protein after liftingx(

If whey protein upsets your stomach I would suggest using a rice protein. I don't know which manufacturers make it in the USA but we have a stockist in Australia.

Another option is powdered yeast which I use - I have a milk allergy. It is available at health food stores. I mix it with orange juice and like the flavor - although I used a very small amount when getting used to it.
