Protein Bars

Iam unable to locate LaraBars in any of the stores in my area can someone recommend another protein bar that is good. I really like the Special K chocolate bars but I don't know how good these really are for me.

www.drugstore.com has them at a pretty good price.

I have seen them at Trader Joe's (if you have one nearby).

They are worth the effort!! Good luck! I am sure others will have different suggestions.

Another tasty one that is good for you is Mrs. May's Trio bars. I found mine at Costco. Just thinking about them makes me want to get one!!! :9

I love the Pure Protein bars, the Chocolate Peanut butter tastes just like a Reese's cup! Not as *clean* as the Larabars, but really yummy!! The Special K bars don't have as much protein & more sugar. Hope that helps!

Luna bars are yummy and Hannaford usually has them 5 for 5.00.

I found the Lara Bars at a little place that sell all organic foods. I had never been in the store it was really neat. They had nuts,wheats,natural flours. You could grind your own walnut or peanut butter. I believe I will be going back. I did notice that the Lara bars have alot of sugar in them. I bought Cinnamon Roll, and Banana Cookie.

I love love love the Zone bars. Chocolate peanut butter and chocolate mint are my favorites, but the strawberry/yogurt ones are good too. I eat one every day with milk for lunch.

I am interested in this as well. I like the Kellogs ones as well because they are easily available, but they have a LOT of sugar!

Kellogs are great but do have a lot of sugar

I also love Luna - my favorite. Power Bar Pria is low in calories and is "ok". I haven't tried the Lara bars but if they don't have chocolate, I aint havin' it!!
