PROGRESS NOT PERFECTION: MARCH

Good job! bm2 is fun...at least what i've done of it, the step and a couple power circuits.

planning meals and grocery lists while at work today :) Feeling a little better about things in general,I was ready to see a psychiatrist on Friday after work! :-(

My Cats are Big 12 Champions in basketball! they were in football too, so it's been a good year to be a Wildcat :)

We had a nice weekend spent together. We went down to MS of Sat then spent Sun shopping and running errands. Hubby needs some new sneakers but he's very particular, nothing too trendy or expensive. He's worse than me.

Good news on the homefront. His work changed their minds {new CEO} and he was offered a different job to start in May when his old job ends so we are happy!! But since they keep changing their minds, I'm trying not to get too excited. One issue is the new job is second shift 2-midnight. We aren't thrilled but we can see some advantages to spending more daylight together {such as we can get up and exercise}, Hubby usually stays up til midnight anyway.

I baked 5 big chicken breasts last night, we split one {with veggies}, and I froze some and put the rest in the fridge for later this week. We are doing better with trying to cut back on portions.

that all sounds so good Peng! i actually think the second shift is good for all those reasons. considering going to one myself. i loved having energy to do the things i wanted to do early in the day, and you always make energy for what you have to do at work.

headed downstairs to do low max :)

ok i did intervals 1-3, my heel started burning a bit so I went to the stretch. Still burned about 350 calories :) I think there is a lot of "do what I can" in my future...

I did Xtrain Cardio Legs for the first time and it wiped me out. I'm planning on sitting for a while, but it was fun. Alternating cardio blasts with strength moves, with a Lot of different exercises so I didn't get bored; and I didn't feel squatted or lunged to death.

Andrea, I have BM2 but I don't think I"ve done it often. Probably better that you stopped when you did. There's always tomorrow. <tosses hair>

No workout today, was a planned rest day. Feelin' the 100 situps a bit today.

Eating was better today.

B--yogurt, almonds
L--sweet potato, raw celery & carrots with ~ 1 Tbsp low fat dip
D--salad, chicken breast
S--eating pretzels...I know, had a PMS salty/crunch craving...that was preceded by my sweet craving for which I satisfied with a 70 cal vanilla latte K cup in my Keurig.

All water weight but weight this morning was 134.8, down from 137 a few days ago. I tend to stall lately around 132 :(
Posting my weight is a new thing for me, I've never really done it before. It makes myself more accountable and I hate typing the numbers so that's a good thing...I think (??)

Andrea, do what you can.

Peng, I'm so glad you've got some news for you and hubby on the job front! Xtrain Cardio Leg Blast kicks my butt, but I really enjoy it! I've got that on tap for sometime this week.

Go figure, eat healthy and my weight is up a pound. I know not to take too much stock in the scale but darn it, I'd like to see a smaller number at some point!

Today I walked 50 minute on the treadmill, increasing the incline by 2 degrees, every 10 minutes. This is an STS cardio suggestion Cathe made awhile back in the STS forum.

Tomorrow is another day....

today was a rest day, if you count work and a dog walk as rest :)

up early for chest and triceps, gym style :)

sorry about the scale Stacy...

Might do Gym Styles Chest & Tri's and abs after work. Leaning towards the Timesaver premix, for some reason the entire workout seems almost overkill.

I worked late, came home tired. Yeah sounds familiar. I didnt workout and I ate crap for dinner. I"m really starting to hate my job.

i'm really hoping to win the lottery...this working stuff truly does suck!

i did have a pretty good day...training another new employee but this one was a complete 180 from the last one! totally awesome, made my day so much easier.

came home and walked the dogs 2.5 miles and had shrimp stir fry with fresh pineapple and quinoa...nice change of pace.

i'm feeling so much better with spring around the corner, I really hope things turn around for you soon!

Had a rest day because I'm sore from head to toe. My hands hurt because I've been knitting so much so I checked out some books from the library and as a result sat for most of the day.

You are sore everywhere! i know you didn't mean to make me chuckle there Peng but you did :)

No workout or dog walk today, up at 0415 and watched an entire basketball game before work this morning hee hee

Today I did Cathe's All Out HIIT ~ floor and step premix.

One of the Knit Night Girls is having us over to her house for knitting tonight. I need to shower and get ready.

No workout today...finishing another week of training, even though she was a good trainee, I was just completely wiped out. I did walk from the hospital to my car which was in the offsite lot, about a mile, because it was so nice out. Usually we have to take a shuttle bus.

Off for the next two days and really hoping to get some good workouts in. I've been eating pretty well, really well actually all week. Only lost a half a pound. Boo. I'm thinking it will get better now that this rough week is over.

I want to do fun workouts, I think I'm not going to stress too much about "I have to lift this, work this body part, do this type of cardio"...I think I"m just going to do whatever I feel like doing! ha ha so we'll see tomorrow but I"m thinking LIC or BM2?

OK watching my Cats, halftime is ending so gotta go...:) Have a great weekend!

Had a beautiful day today. Warm and sunny. I pulled the cushions for the backyard swing and sat outside for a few hours this mornig than again this afternoon. One of my favorite places to be.

We took April to the park again but we forgot her favorite toy, so she had nothing better to do but pick on the other dogs so we ended up going off on our own in the wooded part of the park. Where I tripped and fell, hurting my ankle, I think its just a light sprain, which I’m icing as I type.:p Hopefully the icing helps and its 100% tomorrow.

Hoping to get off my phat butt and do a workout today!

Andrea, March is half over I havent done a darn thing with our rotation. Work has been insane, so I'm liking the do what's fun workout approach at this point.

Peng, I envy your free time! Hope you ankles heals quickly!

Ok, I'm thinking Afterburn and abs today (or possibly Low Max and abs) and tomorrow an upper body workout, maybe Burn Sets.
