PROGRESS NOT PERFECTION: DECEMBER "GIVE IT YOUR ALL!"

my hubby has the whole next week off! guess he gets to do the cooking and cleaning when i go back to work :)

getting ready to do low max. i slept eleven hours last night so i think I'm recharged enough to tackle the whole thing! burn fat burn!

Hey girlies, been kinda tired, lazy, blah, so not much going on. Had plans to workout but so far today I'm just feeling lazy and kindof enjoying a real day off with no shopping, no laundry and no presents left to wrap! I'm hoping to feel recharged tomorrow....and good job on keeping the workouts up you two!

OSU is up by 4, but still early in the game.....

Glad you are taking it easy! I am doing an insane amount of laundry, and decided to switch my closet to the spare room so I can decide what to wear without buggin hubby while he's sleeping, so I am recording the game and just as soon as I bang out this seven layer dip I'm making (it's all healthy! Oh well except for the cheese and sour cream. I'll go light on them, I promise!) I'm sitting down to watch it and root for OSU!

Sat ~ 40/20 from Cathe's HIIT

Andrea, Hubby's clothes are in his office so he doesn't bother me in the mornings

Stacy, enjoy your day off!

boo ku :-(

i get so sick of them being ridiculously good every year!

my dip was awesome :) good thing I'm doing LIC tomorrow!

I AM going to workout today, stay tuned...

We have a fairly large walk-in closet, but you walk thru the master bath to get to it, so it's already like a separate room. My husband could sleep thru a tornado anyways, so either way, doesnt matter!

Andrea...we couldnt score to save our lives the 2nd half. I dont watch basketball as much as football, too many time outs that interrupt the flow of the game, drives me a bit insane!

Peng, how was 40/20?? I have yet to try that one since 30/30 kicks my butt and that one is supposed to be the easiest of the 3!

Hi everyone, I wanted to say happy holidays. : ) Stacy, I thought of you yesterday when I actually made soup instead of just talk about it. (Bombay Curry veggie thing)
I've had more trouble than ever staying on track lately. I hope all of you are doing well and have some time off to enjoy yourselves. Wishing us all the best in the NY.

Hi FnV!! :) Happy Holidays to you, too!! Funny you mention soup, I'm making tortilla soup for Xmas at the request of my niece, she loves it!!

I'm here to report that's it not yet 10am and I'm done with my workout and showered!! I did Premix #5 from Low Impact Series LIC Step. I really like that premix b/c it's not heavy on the weight or the burpees. I'm going to do a total body weight workout tomorrow, then going to start shifting gears to some split routines!

Off for some last minute holiday food shopping!

I was just checking out the Xtrain clips at collagevideo....considering Burn Set and Legs/Rear Delts. The others dont like too much new stuff. The Tabata one looks a bit too high impact. I was interested in Supercuts (think that was the name of it) but it looks like it uses too much equipment. I dont want to have to lug out weights, bands, tubing, etc Still waiting for the reviews though.

Just finished LIC! i just love that one. i did it the other day before work and i was on a high all day...if it happens again I'll have to do that one every day lol!

i still have the low impact series and shock cardio series to work through, as well as the body blast, intensity, and the rest of hardcore and classics before I'm buying anything new :)

now off to watch football after a good shower :)

Stacy, do you think the LI Challenge Step workout would be do-able for an intermediate like me? i might have to open the dvd case on that one!

I thought the actual combo's took about 3-4 times thru for me to learn the choreography but the blasts and the bonus step are easy, no real choreography which is why I like Premix #5, it's just the Blasts and the Bonus Step, it includes the warmup and cool down and clocks in at 41 min, great for when I'm a bit short on time and want a good workout that doesnt require me to think!

Merry Christmas Eve. Hubby and I ran some errands, then tonight we will go to his parents for Christmas. Tomorrow we go to church with my parents then later we will meet at their house for dinner and presents. No plans to exercise either day, lol.

Stacy, I am all about workouts that doen't require me to think! I think that's the same premix I did of LISC.

Faith, Happy Holidays to you! Nice to have you check in.

Andrea, I think if you've done LowMax you should be able to do most of them. I found that Low Impact Step was a big help with choreo because Cathe seems to breakdown most of the steps that were giving me trouble.

Merry Christmas eve! Well i just did Step Blast, the whole thing so that's where I'm at :)

It was much easier now that I'm stronger and "lighter on my feet" than when I had tried it in the past, long long ago. Merry Christmas to me, all I wanted was a new body...

I did make some goodies to take to Moms tomorrow, bad stuff but also some of my lentil salad...i must post recipe here some day.

Hope you all have a wonderful holiday!

wave wave to FnV! thanks for stopping by! check in anytime we are doing great!

So Hubby and I woke up today, He had to go back to work, and I had breadmaking and laundry waiting for me, so I guess life goes back to normal!

Its snowing lightly with a little buildup on the ground but not the streets. Just enough to be pretty.

I did Cathe's Afterburn. The whole stinking thing {55min}! which I've never done before, I've always done premixes. If like me you can't do the pusups/planks in the workout it ends up being more cardio so I stuck it in that catagory to see if I'll do it more often.

I finished the laundry and just realized I forgot about the bread dough in the oven.
