Priscilla Presley on Oprah yesterday

The show could have been a rerun as I rarely ever watch afternoon t.v. Had a little to spare and decided to watch. Priscilla and Lisa Marie were both on there. Priscilla is absolutely scary looking. She has definitely had a lot of face work done. I used to think she was so pretty, but now she looks terrible. Her mouth is HUGE and she's really really white. My son came through the room and said she looked like a plastic doll. I'm hoping that maybe she had the work recently and will eventually look better. I found this link with pictures. http://www2.oprah.com/tows/slide/200503/20050328/slide_20050328_203.jhtml She actually looks better in the pictures than she did on the show.

Hi
I saw a bit of that show also. I think she had the surgery a while back because I remember some discussion of "plastic surgery gone bad" with her as an example. What a shame. She must be near 60 now and with her beautiful former face, I'm sure she would have aged gracefully and beautifully. I was hoping Oprah would ask her about it since she asked Lisa Marie if she consummated her marriage with Michael Jackson!!

Also Kelley, I checked out Oprah's website and the message board discusses Priscilla's plastic surgery gone wrong.

I saw that show!!! She can't even smile really. It's sad. Her face looks so stiff, and she can't move her mouth. Why did she do that????

It took me a while to figure out what looked so odd about Pricilla and realised that because her upper lip is so over plumped she appears to have no top teeth:eek: That can't be the look she was going for!!:+

Take Care
Laurie:)

Creepy - Lisa Marie, with her lines around her eyes, looks older than her mother. Priscilla looks like a Chucky doll - immovable plastic cheeks, plump plastic lips, round too-open eyes...

Another person who seems to have visited the plastic surgeon once too often is Burt Reynolds! He's been making the rounds of the talk shows to promote Dukes of Hazzard. He's let his hair go grey, but does not like wrinkles, I guess!

Does anybody besides me remember when he was the centerfold in Cosmo back in the early '70's? How mild does what he did seem today?!!!
Just Do It! :)

Uuuuuh yeah, unfortunately, I remember HB! I saw both Burt on Jay Leno & Priscilla on Oprah and couldn't believe either. It is just sad to me to see them sooo unreal-like. I am starting to not like my crowsfeet at all, but when I see the outcome of them who have money to "fix" themselves, I guess I'll keep the crowsfeet. (I call them my smile/laugh lines! :7) The Dukes of Hazzard was my son's fav show when he was little. Yeeeehaw!

What I don't get is that I thought Priscilla was an attractive lady before she went and did all this "butchery". Why break something that isn't broken?

Other train wrecks, imo, include:

Jessica Lange ( You can't even recognize her..)
Melanie Griffith
Jennifer Grey

just to name a few off the top of my unplastic head.

I always thought that someday I too would get plastic surgery done when I started to get wrinkles. But lately I've seen Burt Reynolds and others that I know locally and they look just horrible! I have decided to ages gracefully, crows feet and all!

Has anyone seen Beverly D'Angelo lately? She was on Entourage this week as Mandy Moore's agent and I didn't even know it was her until I saw the credits. I've always thought she was beautiful but now she looks completely different and a little scarey, IMO.

It's really a shame that these stars think they need to look younger or thinner in order to get work - they probably do. I'm sure it only takes one executive to say lose weight or we need a younger looking actor, and off they go losing too much weight or having excessive plastic surgery.

I totally agree with everyone. I have crows feet and laugh lines around my mouth, but I will be keeping them. I would rather look real than fake. I did not know Priscilla was on there for surgery gone bad. I feel so sorry for her. I also agree that Melanie Griffith looks terrible. I also don't think Cher looks good either.

And Mickey Rourke (sp?), who quit acting for a while to be a boxer, then got a "super tight" (à la Burt Reynolds) facelift? He's in "Sin City", but wearing some kind of makeup that makes him look strange (though actually not as strange as his "new" face).

You'd think actors would have the money to get a good, subtle face job done.

Burt Reynolds obviously had several procedures over the years. It looks like the skin that was once near his mouth is now up by his nose (he's got those odd lines going in that direction from a bad or excessive lift).

And some people actually think Joan Rivers looks good! (At least people who call in to QVC when she's on hawking her jewelry and makeup).

I think these people went well beyond fixing their crows feet and laugh lines. They all look like they've had EXECESSIVE work done and totalled up, it looks really plastic and scary. However, there are some good examples of plastic surgery out there. I've even read that Marilyn Monroe had her nose "fixed" before she became so famous and I've always thought she looked great. Now looking like Joan Rivers is another story all together.

I also
>agree that Melanie Griffith looks terrible. I also don't think
>Cher looks good either.

At least with Melanie, the worst stuff was her over-collegened lips, and that wears off. I read that Antonio forbids her to get it done again.

Marie Osmond looked very odd for a while as well (a very tight eye job), but I saw her recently, and it must have really relaxed, because she looks much better.

John Shea once had at least an eye job right in the middle of filming'Lois and Clark" (he played Lex Luthor). It was SO obvious (the "I was born Asian, but I now look it" look) for about a year or so. Then it seemed to relax a bit. But he still has that "worked on" look.

I agree, I'd rather go natural. Though there are a lot of things I'd like to change, I'd rather not look as fake as many people look nowdays. The host of "So you think you can dance" is some woman who looks overly botoxed. I find it unattractive and fake looking.

Angie...thanks for that link. I've been taping the Bold & the Beautiful for years and I've always thought Hunter Tylo was just the most beautiful woman. Well, when she came back, I thought I needed glasses because I couldn't believe my eyes. It's tragic. Thanks again!!

I also think Susan Lucci looks great, but you can definitely tell that she's had work as her face and neck do not match at all. Her face is all smooth and her neck definitely shows her age.
