shopping was tons of fun. my sister was a huge help. and her college id saved me a boatload at jcrew!!:D i got so many new shirts!:eek: but in all fairness, julia has ruined most of them...breastmilk, spit up, food...im a human papertowel!
 
Kate - I'm a human papertowel too. My clothes have been blessed with spit up!

Eugh, got an UTI. Waiting for my prescription. Hate it, hate it, hate it. Hoping it would clear on it's own, but no luck. This has got to be one of the most annoying feelings. Better get some work done!

hi everyone. I haven't been able to keep up with the thread just yet. just wanted to pop in and share Liams 2 week stats. He is 8 lb 4 oz. (was born 7lb 12oz then lost some) they said he was 22 inches long! everytime I bring him anywhere people say how long he looks. ha. and hes doing well. Had his first real bath this last week so thought I'd share a few pics ;)

Kate--Yay on the clean eats! Why am I not surprised?? :rolleyes: (You're a fitness role model of mine, you know.) Glad you had fun shopping! I hear ya on the human paper towel! I remember when Oliver was born. Him being our first, I was totally unprepared and SOOOOO tired. I remember DH coming home from work and I'd be covered in dried spit-up and he'd be totally grossed out. I had tuned out the smell. LOL

Jess--Cute pictures!! SOOOO sweet. Tugs at my heart!

Lisa--Sorry about the UTI. Those can make you feel so blah and achy. Hope you feel better soon! Remember to eat yogurt with your antibiotic! :)

Wendy--BM2 is fun. I haven't done it since my ankle mishap, though. It's a toughy!

Just did my 20 minute run with the last quarter mile sprinting -- well running much faster than my comfort zone, don't know if it's sprinting. I looked like a biggest Loser contestant and almost puked. But now I feel great! Still have to do abs tonight. Maybe DH will venture to do them with me. Eats were clean today except for a handful of cookie crisp that DH bought. WHY OH WHY does he do this to me??? :rolleyes: Hope you ladies have a good night!
 
Stephanie, Cookie Crisp is much better than real cookies. COnsider it your small treat for the day and look to improve tomorrow.:D
I am :eek::eek::eek: that I ama fitness role model! You are too easy on me! I have GOT to tuck in this pooch!:rolleyes: DH is my will power role model. He had about 3 bites of dessert and let THE REST MELT ON HIS PLATE!!!! It took everything in me to not gobble it up! LOL!
My sprinting sounds like yours! I just finished CCv3 and my "running" is probably a jog for most everyoe else! But I sure am sweaty so I'llt ake it! Tomorrow lets remember how GREAT we feel right now and how AWFUL we feel after indulgences! We can do it!!!!
 
Steph - Yes, thank you for the yogurt reminder. Thankfully my dr. gave me a small dose. I tend to get those dreaded yeast infections after a round of antibiotics. Yay on the sprinting!! You've been so disciplined, that's great! Now I need to follow suit.

Kate - Glad you had a nice dinner. Be thankful you had no UTIs. I never did until after pgs, go figure.

Jess - Thanks for sharing the pics! Very cute!

Got my meds so hoping it works within 24hrs. Need to do my MM or some strength wo. It is so muggy and miserable. Thinking of maybe homemade pizza for dinner. We'll see.

skyy -or sydney. I'm used to calling you skyy ha. have you seen the electric booger suckers?? lol. I found one at walmart and got it. seems to be pretty cool. I know babies HATE those bulb ones.

Well I'm a total video w/o addict. even though I'm only walking now I keep buying workouts haha. I got amy b's two new ones on the preorder and just ordered kimberly spreens new one and KCMs 30 min kickboxing w/o. not to mention sts cardio. hoping I can atleast sqeeze in half hour workouts soon. my parents leave sunday so maybe this next week.

Wendy--Martha Stewart did a lemon angel food cake today on her show and it looked YUMMY (and not so fattening!). I"m sure the recipe is on marthastewart.com. That's so sweet of you to make your brother a cake!

Sydney--I'm about ready for a rest day too. My body is achy from lovely DOMS. I think Sunday I'll rest and maybe do a yoga DVD. I am interested in cardio coach, but my incline on my treadmill is wonky. Do you have to be able to do the incline, or does cardio coach just have to do with the speed? (I think I've asked this before on a forum, but I can't remember the answer.)

Jess--I'm also a w/o DVD addict, but lately, I've enjoyed my treadmill days because it's kind of a no-brainer. I can just listen to music and zone out for a little while.

Lisa--Hope you're feeling better! We did homemade pizza last weekend, and I bought some yeast packets to do some dough this weekend too, but I think that mom wants us to come over tomorrow night and order pizza for mother's day celebration. Some of my relatives are in town. Ugh!!! It's such a conundrum. I don't want to eat it, but these people will totally criticize me if I don't. They are the type of relatives that are quick to comment on your weight (i.e. "Wow, you've gotten fat.") but also criticize you for eating like a bird. So not looking forward to that conversation.... Anyway...

Well, tonight it's S&H biceps/triceps/abs. I skipped abs last night because I knew tonight would be a big ab workout. Tomorrow, I'll do my short run again. Tonight I'm planning on getting my hair all cut off and donating it to Locks of Love. That is, IF Oliver's make-up soccer game is rained out. C'mon rain!!! (Is that bad?) Hopefully, tomorrow I'll be sporting a new bob. :) Hope everyone has a fantabulous Friday!!

for cc there are times when youre on "hills" but you could just increase your speed...or do walking lunges. get one! theyre only $5 right now!

my sister & i are signing up for a 5k for next month! i do cc on my ellip but i never run outside...this should be interesting! we're both a little on the slow side!:eek: at least we'll have fun!:D:D
 
Kate--DH does 5Ks. I'd love to do one with him. I'm slow though, so I doubt he'd want me tagging along. I literally "run" at half his speed on the treadmill :eek: But it gets my heart rate up and gets me nice and sweaty, so it's fast for me! Plus, I have short stubby legs. I am SOOOOO excited about my haircut tonight. SOOOOOO hoping soccer is rained out! I want to color it too, and I bought a hair color, but then I saw a story on the news about hair color being toxic and cancer-causing. The news show even showed a picture of the kind I bought. :confused: Still think I"ll take my chances. Just this once. :confused: What we do for self esteem!
 
stephanie, i hope you get some time alone tonight! you definetly deserve it! id be scared of coloring my hair too...and goodness, theres plenty o'gray to cover!:eek: it gets worse w/ each preg!

off to the chiro....mild headache. but maybe its from dds!:p
 
Just finished STS Squat Rack legs. I loved it. My quads are gonna BURN tomorrow night! yay!!

This is normally dessert night but we're skipping.:D I worked too hard to have a cheat. Plus, we had some cake last night. Not of epic proportions but it satisfied my sweet tooth...for a few days anyway!:p
 
Hi ladies!! Ended up making the pizza tonight. Kids loved it. What is everyone's plans for mother's day? All you mothers here deserve a nice day! I'm thinking of going back to kb classes that my friend teaches. I do miss the environment of it all. I'm also planning on taking spinning once a week if my schedule allows. Sorry for the me post, but I have my hands full now. Pomai woke up and has discovered the keyboard!!
