Pregnant with number three!!

Hi, I've been lurking here for a while, but I found out yesterday about this and I'm really excited and anxious. I am in need of some advice. I've been exercising for about a year and a half 4-6 times a week. Kickboxing, the Firm and just started with Cathe step about four months ago. I just got MIS last week and was planning to start a rotation with it but surprise! My circumstances have changed and that would be making my workouts more intense. I was wondering if that's okay right now or if I should just try to maintain my fitness level. Also I am kicking myself for slacking on the abs a bit lately. Is it okay to try to strengthen them now before I pop out and can't lay on my back anymore? I am determined to keep exercising this time no matter what! I'm feeling really tired and that's frustrating. Maybe working out will help that? Any advice would be so appreciated! Thank you. JackieS

Congrats!

I really don't have much advice. I am struggling with my work out schedule due to fatigue. I wasn't sick with my first two children, but this pregnancy has been a totally different story. I just try to do something everyday. Even if it is just 20 minutes. On bad days all I can manage is a good walk. I am heading into my second trimester and am hoping this nausea and fatigue let up soon. I think they are. It's not a 24/7 ordeal anymore. I know I have over done it once or twice and paid with incredibly painful charlie horses in my abs. They would not relax after doing a step tape. I have lowered my step and intensity since then. I don't know exactly what caused this. I just know you don't want it to happen. It was painful and scarey.

sorry!

After reading through previous threads I saw that all the questions I had have been asked and answered several times already. My printer has been working overtime! I'm looking forward to learning lots more and I'm so excited about all the information here. Thanks.

Congrats Jackie!

I had my third 5 months ago and just like you had bought several Cathe tapes and found out that I was pregnant. UH OH this may be a trend...watch out for her new tapes that are coming out

For me I coulnd't up the intensity, I just didn't feel right. Mention it to your doctor and listen to your body.
Best of Luck!
